I don't remember such a case, normally they are quite well reported when a player joins one club then jumps ship. You can usually find a story on them, I had a quick search and found none on Aurelio although without knowing the club for definite then it makes it hard to track something down - and other articles containing the same words

Robert Jarni to Coventry

In the summer of 1998, Jarni initially moved to English side Coventry City, signing for £2.6m from Real Betis. However, when Real Madrid decided they wanted the player, they successfully bought him from Coventry for £3.4m with Jarni having made no appearances whatsoever

This involved a fee, not a bosman, but the player joined one club then changed his mind and that was that. Coventry made £800k from the deal

DIDI HAMANN to Bolton

In June 2006, Hamann was given permission to talk to Bolton Wanderers about a potential transfer to the North West club. Hamann admitted that he would be saddened to leave Liverpool but would make "the best decision for my future". Hamann actually signed a pre-contract in June 2006, to become a Bolton Wanderers player but had a "change of heart",[9]. He joined Bolton for less than one day before a move to Manchester City

Jon Obi Mikel to Man Utd

I can't be @rsed to pick the salient lines out of wiki as this was simple yet they've complicated it. Mikel was set to join the mancs, changed his mind and there was a wrangle over the whole thing - typical mancs. Chelsea got their man, but paid dearly for him at reputedly £12m compensation plus £4m to Lyn Oslo. Boy was he worth it!

Those are the three that spring to mind for me where a player joined a club and moved before playing for that club, or in the case of Mikel was set to sign, but they all involve compensation to a club they never played for.

thats because the club in question "threatened" to take us to court but didn't because we paid 3million you moron

HAHAHAHAHA... Thats GREAT news if true... I really rate the guy and if he can stay clear of injuries then he's good enough to be 1st choice for us...
Still hop the Insua transfer goes through though... Cant be good him staying at the club : Not good enough and we'll never get as good a bid as the one we have..
