Totally blown out of proportion!
Does anyone honestly think the flag burning incident even made the news in the states?
And if it did are they ar$ed?
If some baseball fans were burning a union jack cos they had poor UK owners would anybody give a toss?

It made the news even in Poland it made it in the US

with what headline tho is it fixated on the 'actions of the supporters' or their intentions?

I think any report will say 'Liverpool fans were protestig against the way their club is being run, even burning American flags' - reporting in this way will immediately put the actions into context

Once its been given context it isnt half as bad as it could be

why don't you have a closer read of that yourself before you start ridiculing others? yes, the first bit mentions national origin - but the second bit mentions the nullification or impairment of human rights and fundamental freedoms. i don't really see how it supports your argument at all.

I'm not taking sides here but dissing at SOS calling them names you do the same thing that you oppose. Some people burned US Flag and Americans can feel offended, but at the same time all SOS member which wouldn't do such a thing may also feel offended by your words.
