Good luck Rafael Bentez and thanks for the memories, I truly believe that without the pantomime that has been playing out in the higher reaches of Liverpool football club over the last three years you would have brought us the title.

Yes, let's get in one of those American football coaches. They punch the air a lot. Punching the air makes you not only look cool, it makes you WIN. Super. Ancellotti is one of the most morbid f*ckers in the game. What's he ever won, eh?
shut it cu.nt
you know what I meant by that

I think Glen is a great player but when you don't have much money you don't start buying Rolexes, for the money spent on those two we could have gotten better and more useful players.

From liverpoolfc.tv
Liverpool FC today confirmed that Rafael Benitez is to leave the club by mutual consent.
Mr Benitez relinquishes his position as team manager after six years and the Board of Directors would like to place on record their grateful thanks for his services and wish him all the best in his future career.
The Board has now asked Managing Director Christian Purslow, with the assistance of Club Ambassador Kenny Dalglish, to begin a formal search to identify and assess potential candidates for the managerial position.
No timescale has been placed on the process and Liverpool FC will make no further statement until a new manager is appointed.
LFC Chairman Martin Broughton said: "Rafa will forever be part of Liverpool folklore after bringing home the Champions League following the epic final in Istanbul but after a disappointing season both parties felt a fresh start would be best for all concerned.''
Rafael Benitez said: "It is very sad for me to announce that I will no longer be manager of Liverpool FC. I would like to thank all of the staff and players for their efforts.
"I'll always keep in my heart the good times I've had here, the strong and loyal support of the fans in the tough times and the love from Liverpool. I have no words to thank you enough for all these years and I am very proud to say that I was your manager.
"Thank you so much once more and always remember: You'll never walk alone."

At last he's gone
Things can only get better now, I firmly believe that.
Get better? Now wait and see how the owners will now sell all our best players and drain as much cash to their pocket as possible. Then will just leave and leave us in a state of disarray. I really hope this will not happen but I wouldn't be surprised if the two Yanks will end up doing this.
I don't think so, the reason they sacked Rafa is because the club is unappealing under him, they want a sale and they want as much money as possible. That won't happen if they sell all the best players, they may be a pair of tw@ts but they aren't completely stupid.

its not down to the likes of kenny to keep them, I think two big names will go anyway and it has nothing to do with the owners our Rafa.
the problem we have is that Torres needs to be playing CL football.
yes his problem with Rafa has been sorted but theres still a caee that he is trying to look after himself and he feels thats hard to do in the prem.

That wasn't because of Rafa that was because of the lack of quality players at the club. We can't afford to compete with Chelsea and City.
