:bowdown  perfectly put sir

Why are they interviewing Jamie Redknapp? As if anyone cares what that moron has to say? He's always taken pot shots at Rafa for as long as I can remember.

Thanks for the memories Rafa, you gave me the best night of my life with Istanbul along with some other great memories. I wish you all the best in the future and hope to be meeting you again in the CL in the not too distant future!!!!

Let Kenny lead the hunt for a new manager, cos frankly CP is a pr*ck!!!

Oh an Ciggs every1 is entitled to their opinion you may be guuted he's left but not every1 feels the same as you do and they have as much right as you to voice their opinios

Good luck in your next job Rafa. :)

Thanks for the success and for many nights of superb football.

Quality manager who I hope will enjoy continued success.

For me, I think it was time for a change, I simply couldn't see how he would be able to galvanise the team and make them greater than the sum of their parts next season - after all isn't this the fundamental job of a manager? I simply can't see how that could happen.

REMEMBER, THIS REMAINS A SIDE-SHOW. THE MEDIA INTEREST SHOULD BE USED TO HIGHLIGHT THE DIRE SITUATION THAT LIVERPOOL IS IN DUE TO IT'S CURRENT OWNERS. WE NEED TO USE THIS TO OUR ADVANTAGE.

THIS IS NOT A TIME TO CELEBRATE.

That is your opinion and you are perfectly entitled to it but I'm not and neither are you, you are just a bit upset so I forgive you and everyone else who has called me names.

i think they would have been told they were giving him the sack before they left so they did not start looking for other clubs.

sorry but as you know this has not been a shock for me that he has gone, i have been posting about the problem with the players and rafa looking for other jobs since xmas, ex players have been talking about how is going to be the next manager since xmas aswell.

cool JD on tv right now, i was only talking to him at the weekend.

Well, I'd prefer not to have to ban anyone so let me make a general plea for some decorum on a day of intense and wide-ranging emotions.  Whether people think Rafa was still the best man to manage the club or think it was time for him to move on it would be nice if they could post in a way that respects alternative viewpoints.  I think it disrespects fellow supporters to celebrate the sacking of the manager like a derby win.  Likewise, I think that abusing people who feel it's time for a managerial change is unacceptable.  Too much of either and I will have to step in with cards.
