He's a gonna for sure, why would you stay? no money to invest, :censored: manager, no champions league this year or the next few by the looks of it! or goto Real Madrid or any other top club that would come calling? he is 30 now and you haven't tested yourself as a great unless you ply your trade abroard.

Even with our prospects not looking too good for next season, atm anyway, I would hope that Gerrard's loyalty could not be bought, for the foreseeable future anyway. I feel sure that LFC means more to him than just a meal ticket, I sincerely hope so.

Couldn't get over the time when Mcmanaman went to Real Madrid (years ago now admittedly), after umming and rrring bout signing a new contract and then he went on a free transfer. I realise they have to do what's best for them but it was quite a slap in the face for us esp. when we could have got a fee had he made his mind up earlier...
