I have to say I really have no clue as to how this interview with the guys wife somehow glosses over the fact that Rafa has presided over the most turgid and lacustre football team I have witness in many a long year, sorry to be candid.

From people who know Rafa & Montse personally.

They live in the most gorgeus house in Caldy she runs a charity shop, she does NOT want to leave, she said herself last year on that radio Merseyside interview if Rafa wants to leave he can but Im staying here I am really settled here its my home and I love it.

Do you have a link for that, not heard her talk, she sounds a nice lady.

The link is in this thread somewhere i put it up last year .

lol in this thread? lost for good then lol

There you go Lakes , and this is why Montse is a Scouser :nod . Its about an hour long but but interview ,give you an idea how they both feel about the city and us fans

totally agree.

I have no doubts that montse is obviously a lovely woman and does put alot in to charity and her local community.

However her husband made a balls up of last season and i have no reason to believe that things will improve this coming season. As he did nothing to rectify the striking options in January.

To be honest; I won't be moaning too much if he stays.

I wont be moaning if he goes and we get someone with as good a pedigree as Rafa.

I will be moaning if the 2 Yanks are still here by the start of next season though.

I'm ambivalent when it comes to Rafa - remember, we could get rid, then replace him with
a very average manager - and find ourselves fighting with Everton for 8th spot.

I can be as patient as the next man, and more. If you take this season as a "blip" in Rafa's record
with us; then an argument can be made for giving him more time.

I can wait another season before I give Rafa the thumbs up/down.

It has everything to do with it she doesnt want to leave, and the club cant afford to sack him.

its not about that for me, as i have said before, i like Rafa as a person and i am a liverpool fan, It dont matter if i agree with him or not but when he puts oout a team i back them 100%

Its good to here her talk, yes it sounds like she loves it here, but i wonder if the mood change and they were getting stick for what Rafa is doing in his job how long it would take to change her view.

unlike other members I try to get as much info on a sublect before i post about it (as i said I TRY)

When Rafa leaves our club i will wish all the best for him and his family and i mean tthat 100%

Thanks again for the link Nan.

we are in the position of a shitty no mark club. In fact, sometimes i think i support newcastle and the shirt has been painted the wrong colour.

I'm through with Rafa and his f*king awful transfers of the last 2 years. Babel, Lucas,  Robbie Keane, Aqualani its like Houllier never f(cking left

how many 'great' managers would try and sell Alonso and replace him with Garath Barry?
