Wouldnt have started Maxi for this one but not a bad side nonetheless !

Now it all depends on the tactics deployed by Roy for this game... If we manage to get the ball forward well and get Torres running at their CBs then we might be in with a shout..

Am happy enough if that's the team. Was really hoping to see Mereilles get a start and although Maxi isn't my first choice either it looks alright to me.

Ace - Gerrard don the right is a great shout, I always wondered why Rafa refused to try him there (even for portions of games) after his play at the position a few years ago. It would definitely give Evra something to think about.

I would think if you played Lucas in front of the back four, he's a helluva lot more likely to give away a dumbass free kick in a very dangerous position than Poulsen would. That's at least ONE reason I'd play Poulsen ahead of Lucas....

I'd go for Poulsen as well mate, it's not that I rate him especially based on what i've seen (which isn't enough tbh) but Lucas has had his chances and never really proved himself beyond being a useful squad player.

I would like 2 c Lucas in his best position especially after his goal i dont think at the moment Jovanovic merits a start and i agree if Gerrard plays on right side hell force Evra back

I like that line up except for Skrtel who hasn't impressed me at all this season. I rather see Agger in especially at threatre of penalties.

As always I expect a result though I certianly take a point
