Suarez should have left in for Borini there.

Good fightback lads after poor insipid first half

Early signs that 12 million for Sturridge will be a bargain

Not when we don't turn up until well in to the second half.

I have to say, I was really really happy with the way we played in the second half, Sturridge, Suarez, Borini, all looked very dangerous. Downing as well, played really well today, he can become an integral part of the team if he keeps playing like that - never gave the ball away and picked out good passes in general.

Shame, we only started playing after making substitues, shows we didn't prepare well for the game.

Hope am wrong but I doubt very much that Rogers is the man to get us there...IMO his best contribution will be to lay the foundation...
Floyd stepped left and threw the hook that caught Hatton flush under the chin. Finally, the British champ had arrived in that mythical place of which his fans speak: Hatton Wonderland.

Sturridge though should have scored 2nd goal is now 2 goals in 2 games. Look forward to how well he will link up with Suarez in future. Though we lost, Swansea drew and WB lost yesterday, so the only consolation is our table standing is unchanged and we didn't get battered today as I had expected.

He's not the finished article, he'll develop with the team.
