Gomis is like a Kenwyne Jones type

Bastos is a big time danger player that didn't even play in the first match, and Cissokho certainly has pace to burn when he gets forward.

Källström is also a danger from long range shots

Also afraid of Lisandro Lopez.

Can't see us keeping a clean sheet, need Nando to score 2

I'd much rather see him giving WASH a go instead of that second rate pornstar. At least WASH has shown some promise recently and has a bit of an idea about putting the ball in the back of the net.

I'm starting the prayers now cos I really think we're gonna need them!!

I think Tafer is supposed to be their "next Benzema" still a ways from being at that kind of level, but maybe a name to look out for in the future.

I'm gutted about two things. Firstly I didn't even get on the coach as far as the newkit line up is concerned. Talk about out of favour, fecks sake :(.

Secondly, I'd have gone with babel instead of Voronin simply because I think he's a better player.

Despite those two schoolboy errors though, I fancy us to get home 2-1. That's 2-0 to us with them getting a meaningless consolation at the end.

Cant believe you think we'll win Mick? And s@int for that matter too? :O

Not at all confident - could be another Fulham game here.

I believe that Voronin has a 100% scoring record for Liverpool when playing in France, surely he couldn't be dropped in such an important game :D

rafa will probably do something like that - play voronin instead of ngog, stick our most creative player out left in the cold. the next worse thing he could possibly do is put carra at rightback with stelios and agger in the middle. carra hasnt got the pace to be a rightback.

see! i was correct. i demand to be the lone striker instead of Nanny. she is past it anyway  :rasp

I think one option we have if we are chasing would be to put Aquilani on for El Greco, move Mascherano to RB and Carra in the middle.  Would increase the overall attacking threat in the team by a sizeable margain IMO.

 Well I must confess I had to google him Nan. It seems he wasn't just backroom, he was in a room out the back of a room which was behind the backroom.

How did it ever come to this, I used to be part of the inner circle, charged with improving the cohesion and rhythm, and now I find out I'm in charge of washing the training bibs and making sure everyones poweraide bottle is topped up. People wonder why I'm an anti :D.
