Liverpool Football Club - Games

Reckon Aguero will be on the bench for them. I could see them bringing in someone like Garcia or Milner and pushing Toure further forward though.

For us, the deeper Toure plays the better.

I think Aguero will start myself, he's been back in full training for 2 weeks and was supposed to get a run out against Southampton but I think Pellegrini held him back to make sure he was 100% for this game.
That's the view of most City fans over on Bluemoon anyway.
The only change I see is the same one that happened when we played them at the Etihad when Dimichalis was replaced by Lescott, I don't think they fancy Dimichalis up against our pacey attack.

Cannot recall a bigger game for Liverpool in league terms, for anyone for that matter.

Its not just a football game with the Hillsborough connotations, its doesn't get more important than this really, especially
at Anfield.

The desperation in 89 when we lost with the last kick at home still stays with me, and a timely reminder for the players
and everyone connected with the club that football, like life, is no fairy tale, and we know justice is not always done.

Efforts this year have been incredible, beyond expectation, and we need to take advantage as we are not a club with
resources to ensure this can happen every year.

Win on Sunday and we will take a big stride toward a quite remarkable achievement, eclipsing Istanbul, and a huge step
toward giving the gift of a league title to a generation of fans that have never seen it at Liverpool.

This can be our year. We are so close to the title that it starts to be a real pain to watch every game. Hopefully the players get the right psychologial treatment to be 100% focused mentally. The crowed will be a deciding factor tomorrow as well. Open with Lucas in the middle to slow down their midfield, Come on reds! 2-1 to us.

Looks like Kompany will be out of tomorrow's clash after suffering an injury in training today?

Apparently it's a false alarm, he's fine to play.
Anyway I hope all their big stars play, we don't want any excuses out of them when we win.

You'd be the only one listening to their excuses Yakka.

I wouldn't give a fk if all their first team were suddenly unavailable,  personally I'd just be too fking happy celebrating our win too even think about what they (or anyone else) have to say about it.

Yeah I agree, I think if this game ends up as a cagey tactical chess match then I think their superior overall quality will eventually wear us down, IMO to have any chance of winning this we really need to make sure the crowd becomes a factor and the best way to do that is by playing at a seriously high tempo and pressing them like we've never pressed before. If it's true that a few of their players are carrying knocks then the last thing they'll want to be doing is dashing around at a frantic pace.
