Today was a real shame. With pretty much all of the sides above us dropping points it was a good opportunity to close the gap. The thing is Arsenal didn't even play that well generally. We have to win in midweek against Wigan.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

Even THAT looks beyond us at the moment. Feck's sake, Gerrard spent more time appealing to the ref for dodgy decisions than upright trying to score - reminded of Keane, anyone ?
Pitied Torres out there 'cos he actually looked like he wanted to win.
No contribution at all from Aquilani, maybe I'm being a bit harsh on him though...

good first half.

would someone let our players realise that defending a 1-0 lead will not now, or never will be enough. seems pretty simple even for the thickest of people....you'd think they would have learnt this by now after fulham, lyon, fiorentina....etc.

was that liverpool who came out for the second half? I'm watching captain gadget maybe someone done the same to Liverpool replaced the real players with robots apart from the game against scum we have been terrible this year either i think the time has come for a change rafa has been making baffling decisions for long time but he got away with them but now his luck has run out at Anfield we should never play with one striker especially against teams like birmingham or even Arsenal who will always give u space but he carries on doing it our squad aint good enough and we cant use the excuse of not having money we are always in top 5 spending league yet we have f all to show for it apart from torres and stevie G and mascha none of our other outfields players would get into the elite teams

Ahem... When do we ever capitalise when the top sides drop points?? Last season we fecked that chance many times and as far as this season its just typical of us to do it again.
