They have Di Maria, Rabiot and Draxler as well so I doubt Diarra would be playing box to box. He will be sitting in front of their back 4 looking to mop up challenges and loose balls. He's only 33 and maybe their Milner.

Spurs was a good warm up and so is the Premiership tbh. PSG will be the ones who will have to raise their game to that level which is a big step up from what they are playing week to week. They have the players to do it so if we go with the high tempo it will make it all that harder for them to settle. The atmosphere alone will have them on edge as it is.

Our last CL game ended in a loss so I hope we go out here tonight and show them all that it will take something special to stop us again  :buttrock

That atmosphere will be too much for PSG. We will bulldoze them in the first half I reckon. Then they’ll pull one back in the 2nd. 3-1

Any team news yet of the starting 11?

If we come out of the blocks fast we could blow this lot away in the first half.

This should be like a knockout phase match, not a group game, that's what I'm expecting, a fast tempo.

3-1 to us :buttrock

2 Changes by Klopp :

1. Sturridge for Firmino.
2. Hendo for Keita

Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson, Milner, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Mane, Salah, Sturridge.

Subs: Mignolet, Fabinho, Keita, Firmino, Moreno, Shaqiri, Matip

Hendo and Milner in Midfield?

OK Firmino that's unlucky but if you would have asked me over summer I would have been confident Keita and Fabhino would be killing it in our MF tonight.

Are Henderson, Milner and Wijnaldum able to bring it again against such powerful opponents? Soon find out I guess.I'm not so sure.

Really surprised to see Sturridge play ahead of Shaq or even Solanke. We control the game from the front and whenever Sturridge plays up top we concede a lot of control.

I bet PSG barely have to get out of second gear for most of the year, we need to play at a ridiculously high tempo to take them out of their comfort zone, lets run them off their feet.

Surprised by that midfield, thought they were poor the last time they started together

The best way to play PSG is to put them under constant pressure...if we allowed their forward line to get mobile and move around, then we will always be under pressure
