We were horribly exposed against Leicester with him there. He is a skillfull talented player who will flourish at Liverpool but it won’t be in midfield. People are desperately trying to blame the midfield and desperate to put people to replace Coutinho. Shaqiri will play in the front three just like on many occasions Coutinho played in the front three. We have 6 centre mids who will play take up those three roles - Firmino won’t be one of them and it’s highly likely that Shaqiri will be.

You are all over the place. Against Leicester Shaquiri and Keita came on as subs with 20 minutes to go and changed the game, before that we were getting over run. You are thinking of the Southampton game when Jurgen took him off at HT when we were 3-0 up.

Yes sorry it was Southampton - any decent team would have gone right through the middle of us that day with Shaqiri in the middle - Napoli would have had a field day with Shaqiri in the midfield.

The main point still stands - people are still trying to shoe horn someone into the middle of the park. Once settled Keita is going to be the one in the middle bursting forward to support the guys up high , or Gini or even Milner and when back Ox.

The early promise of the beginning of the season did not last long! we are back to the weird style of play from the nutcase, who said after the match he doesn't know the formation of his team!
Napoli should have won at least 4-0 but only for the keeper. The team failed to register one shot at goal and as usual Firmino master of the duds was not worth a place in the team, so the Sh*t big head Salah (Abu Falafel) one season wonder! out to be dropped totally or even get rid off. from the front three, it was only Mane who has tried to do something, he deserves all the credit.
Chelsea and Man City are gathering strength on weekly basis, whereas the nutcase team slipping badly, the present formation and team selection is not correct and the team will not progress, and I am not so sure about Sunday game against M.City, it could be an interesting match!!

I was away but saw the game and I thought that we were really poor and have been for a few games now.. nothing seems to be clicking, our build up play is really slow and players look shattered already.

Naby had the worst 15 minutes of football imaginable.. it wouldn't surprise me if that "injury" was a way of getting out of the match. He looks like a player with so much potential but he's scared of getting the ball and scared of making errors.. He needs to man up quick.

Woof if you want people to come on here (or stay) that do at least have the interests of Liverpool FC at heart then I think it is time to say good bye to Aly. He has had his fun. He is obviously a Manc or a Bitter. Your decision but he is one of the reasons very few people post on this forum which is a real shame.

Or you can just, you know, scroll past his posts without reading them? Haven't read anything from this guy in a long time. It's people like yourself that give wums like this guy a meaning. Just ignore him!

Hey come on dev, it's not like I tried to insult you there or something. It was more of an advice if anything.
