Can't see us scoring mate unless we get another typical late goal, we've been shyte. We're a team in transition and look disjointed. 400M fekin hek.

We've been average since season began, late goals have ran out. New lads underperforming, looks like a mess and epl table not telling full story.

As poor a performance as I’ve ever seen from us. And against a bang average Galatasaray side, too.

Our experienced players look lost and our new players aren’t stepping up.

Add in two injuries and it’s a worrying picture.

Time to earn your money Slot.

That was a concerning display on so many levels. Konate is a REAL liability at the moment we might have to start playing Gomez over him if he carries on. Not sure what's happening with Wirtz, he cant seem to successfully make easy passes nevermind the "creative" passes we was brought in for. He had a easy chip ball to Salah who had 20 yards of free space to run in to and he couldn't get it over the one player infront of him.
No one played well tonight.. apart for Alisson obviously!! Even Virg looked shakey.. mind you who can blame him playing alongside that donkey.

We look like a side on paper that could destroy any opponent but when we hit the grass we forget why we are there.

We looked iffy in pre-season as well particularly when Milan put 4 past us. I'd try that diamond formation with 2 up top, i'd give that a try if i was Arne.

Looks like Ekitike might have done his Hamstring.. looks like Danns did his aswell for the under 21s so that could be 2 strikers injured for awhile. I'd give Chiesa a run, at least he looks eager.

Honestly I couldn't care less about the result with this format, we just need to win like two more games in this league phase and we're certain to go forward anyway. It's the performance that's worrying, especially with such a difficult run of fixtures coming up.

Terrible time to be losing two key players to injury as well.

Missed the game...maybe it's better for my overall health?

Slot is slowly but surely being found out for his level. He inherited a well-drilled squad last season but can he rebuild his own? I think i know the answer

Are we missing John Heitinga? He was very vocal in Slots ear during games, and was involved in everything on and off field last season. Slot brought in Van Bronckhorst as his assistant this year, and I was a little bit disappointed. Ive never rated him much as a player/manager, or coach. Ive always found him tactically inept. I might be reading in to things a little too much, but something seems really off so far.

People's memories plays tricks on them, everyone thinks Jurgen had all the answers when he first arrived but there was a hell of a lot of chopping and changing and experimenting before he found the system/formation which got the best out of his players, he didn't move Bobby to false 9 straight away, that all took time.
Arne just needs a bit of time himself to do the same, a lot of players have left and a lot have arrived, we will 100% get it right, we've got too many good players for it not to work.
Personally i'd try that diamond formation, it brings the title winning midfield 3 back together which will give us a bit of stability in the middle of the park and allows Wirtz to concentrate on doing what he does best. Isak and Ekitike would make a great old school strike partnership too imo.

                                                          GRAV.

                                    DOM.                                  MACCA.

                                                         WIRTZ.

                                            ISAK.                    HUGO.

Deffo worth a try imo.

Why is everyone running forward when we attack? At one point our entire midfield was in the final third (including Grav) which left us wide open at the back.

Allows teams to shoot lit us open with a single pass.
