LIVERPOOL v Brighton Sat 30th Nov 3.00pm KO

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Postby ycsatbjywtbiastkamb » Sat Nov 30, 2019 1:01 am

We are going through a period where some of our players are struggling with knocks (Mo, Robbo etc) whilst others have full blown injuries (Matip, Fabinho etc) which will keep them out weeks. On top of all that whilst results have been very good you can't really say the same about some of our recent performances, everything just seems a bit like hard work atm.
We need to just dig in and get through this period.

Given the absence of some players and the knocks and niggles others have picked up I'm just glad we're playing this one at home, away it could have been a bit of a banana skin but surely at home we've got enough in the squad to give us a win in this one ?

3-1 for the Red Men  :buttrock

I’d like to see us take a far less pragmatic approach to this game. All out attack. Full on press from the first minute. Hendo to drop back and use Ox for attack  and creation. Trent simply must start. Gomez is still searching for his form.

C’mon...since when City have started learning to score late goals now?

This game is now officially massive, what an opportunity, 11 points clear of City and they've got games against United and Leicester coming up? Come on lads don't ***** this up.

Big game now.  A win will put City out of the title race once and for all.  It'll also give us the opportunty to rotate one or two players in December, with Shaq and Keita back to full fitness.

Come on red men, let's smash Brighton 3-0

Wow, just seen the city result.

Massive opportunity then...though it will be criminal to discount leicester in this title race....

Hopefully if we do go 11 clear City will take their foot off the gas a bit and concentrate more on the CL.

I'm only listening to this on the radio but it sounds like they have had opportunities to score themselves.
