Exactly. Our problem this season is finishing.

Dunno which muppet said earlier we only had one real chance, I counted at least 4 clear-cut chances.

Carroll's shot straight at Schwarzer
Henderson shot off the inside of post
Bellamy skewed shot from 10 yards
Enrique shot saved on the line

What annoys me is the lack of finishing, Suarez is capable of finishing, Bellamy is capable of finishing, even carroll is capable of finishing yet this skill has been predominantly missing all season. I think we do need to shop in January for a Striker, a clinical one!

Don't forget the Downing drive tipped onto the post by Schwarzer...I was sure that was going in the top corner.

Didn't see the whole match but the hour or so I saw, we were all over them for long stretches.  Even after Jay went off we looked threatening until the goal (bad mistakes by both GJ and Pepe on that one).

Chalk it up to a bad night at the office, our Monday jinx, another brilliant performance by an opposition keeper and our lack of utterly clinical finishing in front of goal but, for the love of all things holy, don't write us off just yet! :D

yes we can say we was unlucky last night but that not cover why we was still at 0-0 untill we got a player sent off, even with ten men we should have beat them.

poor passing come back again last night, too many high balls put in for someone that has turned out not to be that good in the air.

Lack of Leadership and Winning Mentality is the reason for all our bad results. We have the talent ,the manager ,the resources ,that Fans ,we do NOT have the right mentality. The one which brought us so many last minutes goals and wins not just long ago.

Jordan Henderson was the most accurate passer on the pitch during Liverpool's 1-0 defeat to Fulham on Monday night.

Fulham had 19 shots, Liverpool had 20.

Fulham's accuracy in front of goal was better, though - 57.1 per cent on target compared with Liverpool's 40 per cent.

The away side had 54.5 per cent of possession.

They also had 10 corners - Fulham won just two.

Liverpool played 519 passes, 83.4 per cent of which were completed.

Fulham completed 80.2 per cent of their 444 passes.

Among the defenders, Brede Hangeland made most clearances - 12 in total. Martin Skrtel made eight for Liverpool.

The statistics show that Jay Spearing won three of his three tackles - making him Liverpool's top boy in the challenge. Philippe Senderos had the same figures for Fulham.

Skrtel had the most impressive 'duel' stats on the pitch - winning 75 per cent of all his personal battles.

Danny Murphy enjoyed more touches than anyone else with 93. Charlie Adam once again topped this table for the Reds with 86.

Jordan Henderson was the best passer during the game with a very impressive 94.6 per cent completion rate among his 56 passes.

Charlie Adam was more ambitious in the pass, though, playing it long 13 times from 62 passes.

Stephen Kelly was the most accurate defender with 92 per cent of passes reaching their destination - though he only made 25 passes.

Daniel Agger just pipped Skrtel to the honours among Liverpool's defenders, finding a teammate with 89.1 per cent of his passes.

Bobby Zamora was the best passer among the strikers who started with 89.3 per cent of his kicks finding their target. Craig Bellamy was next with 86.2 per cent.

Clint Dempsey had more shots than anyone else at Craven Cottage with nine, three of which were between the sticks.

Andy Carroll won the highest percentage of duels among all the strikers on the pitch - 66.7 per cent on the ground and 77.8 per cent in the air.

not forgetting Jay Spearing won the award for 'D!ckhead challenge of the match' with his 2 footed, mid air, potential leg breaker of a tackle.

We play some nice football these days but theres no end product and we are capable of stupid mistakes. Flatter to deceive would sum it up. Good football needs a finish at the end and Suarez aside we dont have one to knock it in and this leaves you vulnerable like last night. One howler and the games gone. Spearing was a bit unlucky but the lad isnt good enough despite being a willing participant. We are miles off being a top 4 outfit and results prove it, there is no bad luck, no work in progress, its performance and results driven mission and lately we cannot produce either on a consistent basis.

the game did highlight how much we miss lucas though. our back four was more exposed than it has been recently. lucas also gets the best out of charlie adam and with lucas not there last night i thought adam had his worst game in some time.

Actually the tackle was very clean and got the ball with ONE foot it was the momentum and follow through that was the problem , 10 years ago it would of been applauded , so whilst it was a bad follow through let's not go over critical .

the game is becoming very soft these days, in 20 years players will start wearing helmets because heading the ball supposedly cause brain damage :help

Find it staggering that anybody could castigate Spearing in such a way. It was a 50/50 ball and they both arrived at the same time. Personally I thought Jay was extremely unlucky and his actions certainly didn't warrant such distasteful criticism. The game is becoming idiotic.I wouldn't mind if he had even hurt the other player ffs.
