Man, I'm glad that's over. Very frustrating game, but which game hasn't been frustrating this season? At least we got all 3 points this time.

another scrappy win, loads of chances gone, Maxi should have had a hattrick today and we let QPR get back into it in the last 20 minutes of the second half

We NEED to finish our chances its getting ridiculious.

Thanks :censored: for that, I thought it was gonna be one of those days again.

elsewhere, the Canaries have beaten the Magpies, and the Gunners are currently leading the Blueshite.

I still stay by my comment that he will be a star. So much about a young Gerrard about him.

Not a pretty result today, but who cares under the circumstances.

Poor game. We seem to play at the level of the opposition. QPR made a game of it for the last 20.

I'll take the points though.

Nah, Henderson has more to his game than Shelvey. Shelvey tries those hollywood balls to often like he did in the last five there and hands possession over too much.

Job done, 3 points.

Suarez and Maxi both missed a few really good opportunities, but I think it shows that they both need to keep playing together, because it works.

We played a good first 1/2 and disappointed we didn't score. Started brilliantly in 2nd half with Suarez heading the ball in. QPR came to defend and only started attacking once we scored to try to get what they came for, a draw.

We hit the b.loody woodwork again from Maxi, and almost an own goal from their defender that hit the woodwork. I thought Maxi had a good game and he knew how to position himself at goal scoring positions but those chances were all 50:50 and he was unlucky not to bang any of them in.

Since we scored, we gave away too many possessions and TBH, I thought this would be another Sunderland/Norwich game thought they would equalise. But we got the 3 points but not without much sweat and blood.  Not a very convincing win IMO. Now I see why we're a team in transition and still very inconsistent. Had QPR played Man City/Utd/Arsenal/Chelsea today, they would have been slaughtered. Luckily they were playing Liverpool. Sorry to sound negative but if this is our normal form, CL place finish is a fantasy.

My vote for MOTM is Charlie Adam.

Ok..............

Changing the subject onto football................strange concept i know, but, the game.

Where do you think we are going wrong?

People are harping on about us not taking our chances and our finishing is poor, but are we actually creating THAT many clear cut chances?

1 on 1's with the keeper, Unmarked chance in the area from a cross, anything that pops up in the 6 yard area, these are clear cut chances.

We have decent possession, lots of corners, decent situations from the bylines, but then something often goes wrong.
