What a player Enrique is, Mata couldn't get anywhere near him today, everytime Mata had the ball Enrique would take it off of him

Well in, DESERVED WIN! they dominated the first 25 minutes of the 2nd half, thats about it then the game looked like it will end a draw. Chelsea rarely threatned in the first half and we looked far more dangerous. What a goal by John Barnes...oh wait no Lionel Messi... err Glen Johnson! made Cashley look like a fool :D

Top 4 is our priority...play a 2nd string 11 for the league cup.

Agreed but we'll probably have Gerrard available. Also expect Carroll to play. Not a write off by any standard.

Great effort from the lads today and they showed some steel after conceding and tactically Dalglish got it bang on. Few of the new boys got a kick up the backside with being dropped so its a win win and needed doing after some lacklustre displays. When Johnson went through I though he was going to stumble and sky it and nearly died when he rolled it past that duckegg Terry into the net. Charlie Adam had a very good game I felt if we are to single anyone out. No doubt the Russian has hit the vodka already and with his mucker Hiddink unemployed you wouldnt be surprised if he kicked off and got shut of Villas Boas even at this stage. Chelsea look very ordinary at this point.

Great result! Fantastic save from Pepe in the second half when we were struggling.Excellent first half. Bellamy should now be given a lot more starts to take the pressure off Carroll who I'm not really sure wether he will ever live up to what we paid for him? Good to see Maxi playing well. No Gerrard or Carragher! Enrique was superb and Glen made it a great day with a brilliant goal that was really well taken.

We now have six games against moderate opposition after the City game. We can kick on from here. Fourth place or better is still possible!

The goal is to rise to the occasion against lesser teams.

If we can do that consistently then we can bag a top 4 spot.

Love the way an ex Chelsea player scored the winner mate  :D
It was a sweet victory with Torres and Meireles forced to watch the reds resurgence

Very good away win... now if we can reinforce the squad with a CB and a striker in the Jan window, i believe we can be challenging...
