LIVERPOOL VS WEST HAM - Saturday 20th november 17:30

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Postby dawson99 » Thu Nov 18, 2010 9:25 am

So no Stevie, no Kuyt, fans wanting change, players wanting results, manager needing to mix things up... this is the game where everything can go wrong...

But we're playing West Ham, abunch of tattoo covered, knuckle draggin, signet ring wearing, scar faced eejits.

Everynoe loves West Ham fans, after Cardiff they were brilliant right? Wrong!

I was on the train with them coming back to London as they asked who I supported whilst doing lines off of the pull down tray by the seats.

I really wanna attack them. Put Mereiles cm attacking, just go for it from the get go.

This could be the game we turn it around, The game we show Stevie that although we need him, we can beat teams withouit him. The fans HAVE to get behind the team and manager for this game...

(And I'm 100% on starting these threads, so get in!!!)

why are they forver blowing bubbles? Not the monkey?!?!?!

I think we're gonna struggle big time.  Gerrard and Kuyt will be out.  Lucas will be suspended.  Johnson, Cole and Aurelio could be back but neither have played a game for awhile now and won't be so fit.
Im expecting to see Poulsen :(

I think we should just go for it from the first minute.  Id pick the below team.

              Reina
Kelly   Carra  Greek   Konchesky

Johnson   Meiriles  Spearing  Maxi
               Cole
                      Torres

but i think Ngog, Poulsen and Skrtel will all start.

Just heard that Torres, Cole and Skrtel are also doubts for West Ham.

in all honesty Skrtel and Cole arent big losses, Torres is massive though...

We will still win this one though, we just have no strentgh in depth

can't wait to see the poulsen-spearing central midfield combo with mereiles shifted out to the right again.

id rather see Merieles in the middle myself  :idea

I really hope we learn by mistakes and play Meireles in middle, we are at home, to the hammers. If we dont play attacking football in this then that is just wrong. Have to wait and see

well so would i. he ran the show in the middle for portugal last night against the world champions and was superb by all accounts.

why we've been playing him on the right is just baffling.

for what it's worth, even without gerrard, we should still be able to beat west ham. if pacheco can't even get on the bench though then i'll drive him to the airport myself.

Im expecting the eleven redmen to come out swinging

In all fairness to him a game against West Ham will suit him far better than a European tie. He doesn't really get to show his tackling and tenacity that he showed for Chalrton when in Europe.

Sounds like Kuyt is definitely out aswell. I'd go for something like this.

                          Reina

    Kelly       Carra     The Greek      Konchesky

    Maxi       Mereiles    Shelvey      Jovanovic

                  Ngog      Torres
