Liverpool Football Club - Games

the games come thick and fast this time of year and this is another tough away trip just days after our trip to the etihad.
despite flying high in the league chelsea are scraping results and riding their luck atm and in just the last month they have been beaten by the likes of basel, sunderland and stoke. those were all away from home though and to be fair to them they dont lose many at their place, infact they`ve only lost once at home all season and that was in the CL.
they have a tendancy to do well in `top four clashes` as well, this season they have beaten city at stamford bridge, drawn with united at old trafford, drawn with spurs at WHL, drawn with arsenal at the emirates and knocked arsenal out of the league cup at the emirates too, infact the only `top four` clash they`ve lost was an 1-0 away defeat to everton early on in the season.
if we continue to play how we have done in recent weeks though i reckon we can beat them. we need to be brave, press them high up the pitch and take the game to them.
as well as we`ve played we dont want to lose 2 games on the bounce at this crucial stage of the season so it`s important that we get something out of the game.

I said that anything we win from these two games will be a bonus but I've just been lying to myself. If we lose this one as well we might drop out of the top 4 and that shouldn't happen because we've been in there for the whole season now and we were even on top on Christmas. We got to get something out of this one, and I think that we can. I think that we're good enough to even break Mourinho's home unbeaten record considering how we played against City.

The only thing that concerns me is that maybe the players aren't taking yesterday's defeat very well. But As someone said, this season we've done well after we've had bad results in the previous game, so I hope that we'll do the same when we play Chelsea.

another big game, but I'm quite confident we'll turn over the Chavs. They have been pretty poor over the last few games and have three strikers who can't hit the goal to save their lives.  A win here could put us back in the top 2 and I'm sure we'll do it.

However, that said, if we have a stinker, we'll still be in the top 4 mix and bounce back with a home game against Hull.

their last win in the league against us at their place was in 09/10.
it was a 2-0 win with annelka and malouda scoring.

They will try and snuff us out and rely on one of their quality players to see them through.

All I want is for Liverpool to keep going for it and have a pop. Hard work is the only tactic, up and down
and closing quick, but when on the ball being positive, moving forward, and getting bodies in advanced
positions.

If we do that and lose then so be it, and just hope Brendan and the team keep being brave.

Draw would be decent though lets face it and win is a bonus and Mourhino is due a loss in the Prem
at the Bridge.

Probably regret saying it but got a feeling we will win.

We have the better attack and we will score, I just hope we don't have any lapses at the back, when we conceed its moreour mistakes rather than great play by the opposition

I think if Maureen watched how we approached the game with City he probably park the bus and try and bore us into submission. His style of football is shit but unfortunately it is affective. Just hope we are right on it. If we are we can take all the points.

Not sure it will be a spectacle as Chelsea will drop deep and try and stop us playing.

Still fancy us to nick one, and hopefully keep a clean sheet.

Well we got to get a positive result now considering today's results.

Can't see us losing this one to be honest. Just hope that BR doesn't show his former teacher too much respect.

Also a bit worried with a CB as a full back but we don't really have an option.
