) who can take us that step further in the league. Benitez can't take us any further in the league IMO, but no doubt we'll win the european cup this year, we'll all be told he's a genius again and we'll be banging on about Moscow five years down the line when his job becomes under threat again. god_bless_john_houlding wrote:I know for a fact this won't go down well and it's not what I want either really BUT...who's to say Benitez going isn't the best thing. Bare with me, the yanks never wanted him in the first place which is why Klinsmann was singled out. Transfers and everything else are either being put on hold or taking aage. I doubt it, but it may happen. I'd rather the lot of them went personally, yanks, Parry and Benitez and we started from scratch with a new management side of things. Anybody in their right mind could get Liverpool fourth with that current set of players without spending a penny. What we need is a manager (gary johnson) who can take us that step further in the league. But if any of them stay than it would have to be Benitez. New owner may give him the open cheque book so many are crying out for and then he'd of had his five years and we can see where we are then.
love Raffa Benitez and he is the best manager for this club

Link 1 was Arsene Wenger
Link 2 was more interesting. Rafa. Good to see the players getting on with things. This is what rafa is up against. He has to keep the players focussed on the matches, and as supporters so must we. Whatever we say or do, we have more influence on the team then we do the men with money and no wits.
