a bunch of drunken soccer hooligans think about the USA....bunch of :censored:.

Sad to see. All those Americans that saved your sorry :censored:, and this is the thanks? You couldn't come up with a better plan than to spit in the face of your liberators, many buried over there. In the end it will have been for naught. The creeping muslim takeover is happening right under your nose. Have another beer. We expect this from France, they have no class

lot of Americans might and it might serve as an inspriation to get the British owners of BP out of America after they clean up the mess they have made of America's Gulf shoreline.

anyway lets forget about it now, from the email i got i dont think it will happens again, SOS did not think it was a good idea.

It wasn't SOS who organised it but persnoally I think it was a great idea and should be done again but with more people there. If it got them talking this time, with more organisation it might help more.

As for that message, well that guy just typifies the terms dumb yank. 'Saved your sorry asses'? That's why they needed us to come into Iraq and help their sorry asses and then Afghanistan too. Going off topic now but I meant is anyone in the media talking about it, from actual newspapers? I don't mean a bunch of mongoloids on a forum.

Typical amount of arrogant and miseducated bollox from them as per usual. Why is it that the WW2 always gets brought into an argument? Wasn't that war already being fought for a couple of years before they got involved? No one saved anyone in that terrible event. Everyone lost. There were a thousand and one different vairables that if they weren't successeful from all sides, the war would have been lost. Always the same sh*t from them until you educate them about it. I'm not tarring every single American with the same brush here, so don't get your wires crossed. It's just that I've heard far too many rants like that one and they all sound the f*cking same.

So they bring up Muslims?  ???

Lakes, as I said to Good Yank, the sight of their flag being burnt should be nothing new. Happens at more or less at every protest around the World against the Iraq war. They want to actually go educate themselves on why it happened instead of spouting uneducated sh*te.

And Lakes/Kewell just drop it, some people here just do not get it and never will.

I have a question I'd like people to respond to, if the firing of Rafa and hiring of a new manager proves to be vital in the selling of the club.. Will the owners that everyone hates get any credit for doing something in the club's best interest?  Or was it all because of Purslow/Broughton?  Was the firing of Rafa even the owner's decision or Purslow/Broughton?  Rafa was not bigger than the club and if firing him equals new owners, more funds, new stadium etc etc then I'll take it.

Maybe he didn't get on with some players. But to say this could be the start of something good is way off the mark. We need to heavily invest in new players, something we will not be able to do no matter who steps in.

After the way Rafa has been mucked about do you really think anyone would even want the job? It's so bad Sky are making up stories now about Redknapp with not a single quote.

On yoru last point, let's see them sell the club first before seeing who gets what credit eh?

I believe things will improve on the pitch under a new manager even with the same squad.  That's not to say we don't need a complete overhaul of the squad, we certainly do.  Rafa's style was part of the reason we were terrible to watch and without success in the last four seasons.  It didn't help that his record in the transfer market was so poor as well.  Sure the owners didn't back him with any additional funds on top of those from player sales in the last few seasons but with the money that was spent the squad should be much better than it is.  It was the right decision to let Rafa go.

Liverpool can still attract top managers but most of them are tied up at the minute so we may have to make do with second or third choice manager.

You say the man had problem with the players.
Besides fringe players and bench warmers, prove to me that anyone in the 1st 11 disliked Rafa or had problems with him?
I am sorry, but I don't buy the media stories and sky's agenda.

What we do know from the FACTS is that Reina and Masch have come out and praised the manager. What the other players think we don't know as not anyone of the has said anything so it is only in you head as you know as much as me what Torres think of Rafa.
What we do know is that Gerrard and Torres came out before the season's end and sung from the same hymn as Rafa saying we needed investment in the squad.

And what ever proff do you have in any fact that sacking Rafa=new owners. Bull**** of the highest order is what I can all it.
The owners have just removed one of the biggest obstacle of selling Torres and Gerrard.
Rafa had control of all the transfers and have said that he would never sell Torres or Gerrard as long as he was manager.
That is a fact not insinuations that you go on with.

How can replacing Rafa with for example O'Neil make us more attractive for a new owner?
Rafa has incredible reputation worldwide after his successes at Valencia and Liverpool and have all the biggest clubs in Europe asking for him every now and then.
O'Neil?
Won practically 0 besides the scottish league and pretty much a nobody worldwide. I am not so sure RM or Inter would come calling anytime soon....
And my predicition is that the owners will foreign(duh) which means a manager that raises the reputation of the club is a good thing. Rafa is definatly one of those, o'neil isn't.
Just baffling how you can draw a conclusion that new manager might prove vital in the selling of the club. What makes you even draw that conclusion? Wishful thinking?

This isn't about Rafa being bigger than the club but firing him does not equal a new stadium... :no

Actually that would be down to something I posted here last week mate. Check back a few pages... :D It was a rumor doing the rounds that the sale of the club was to go through at some point soon. Assuming that rumor was true it could be that the potential new owner wanted his own man in here or might not have been a Rafa fan? But Iagree I think that part is rubbish, especaily if you look at how much Rafa respected the fans. For any new owner coming in the best way to please the fans would have been to just keep Rafa in and give him what he wants to spend.
