I long since resolved to give that one a wide berth, and despite the fact that 90% of his posts either make reference to me by name or by quote, I intend to stick with my resolution, and that includes his pm's as well.

As usual you full of sh1t. I have sent you three PM's in four years, so let's not tell porky pies. You are the back door diplomicy man sending PM's to anyone that will listen, and you are far superior than me at that because I hardly ever send PM's. You love the attention, because when I back off I read a little thinly disgused dig at me so I respond then everyone calls me a stalker, especially you. It is how I know you love the attention (I think it is because you enjoy it when people back you up as it covers over your failures).

:sleep

Once again so quick to reply without saying anything. Always hiding from the truth but always so quick to give your distrorted version of it. Once again, YOU LOVE THE ATTENTION. I sent you three PM's in the last FOUR YEARS, hardly stalker material but it helps get people (five of them) to rally around you . You wish to give the impression that I keep sending you PM's which I do not. Let's stick to the facts shall we.

LIFE IS MORE THAN THIS FORUM, sorry but it is.

Statistics can be used to prove anything. The trouble is, thats exactly what they dont do.
Football is about much, much more than statistics. Its about how a player behaves on the pitch. How he passes, shoots, attacks and defends. Whether he tackles or not. Or if he gives the ball away, does he get it back? Does he work hard and have passion? Or does his head go down when things arent going his way?
Body language, attitude, heart, bottle. There are numerous ways of judging a player.
Statistics is a very small part of it.

Agree, if we base on statistic alone, Lucas/defends would have the best successful passing rate... :p

before i say this, let me make it clear that i'm not looking for rafa to get the sack, but....

if he were to go, who could we get to replace him? (realistic suggestions please) :D

i asked that a few pages/days ago an still aint got an ansa. evry1 knows theres no money, sackin Rafa'd cost a small fortune with the backroom staff etc an then u add a new loada contracts + a new managers transfer desires an ur lookin at the gdp of a small country! bearin in mind Rafa's probly only gonna get a fraction of what money he pulls in, does any1 believe humpty and dumpty are gonna go spend that kinda cash.

no, nor me.

Beside the Hillsborough Flame, I heard a Koppite mournin, "Why so many taken on that day?" Justice has never been done. But their memory we'll carry on. There'll be Glory Round The Fields Of Anfield Road

unmitigated disaster that does make me laugh.

So you're not going to include Mascherano,Agger and of course Alonso in that unmitigated disaster are you. Also will we include Garcia,Benayoun,Arbeloa,Sisosko,Aurellio in it, ok they aren't top draw but you get what you pay for and I haven't seen any summers were we can splash out on 2 players worth 20m each.

:no

Apologies I had thought Alonso came in just before Benitez but yes he was a Benitez buy and you can add him to the list. Of the others you mentioned I do like Bena, Aurelio, Agger but none have always been an automatic first team choice under Benitez but they are all decent enough players and would all make my personal first team at the moment. 'Unmitigated disaster' may have been a tad strong but if we look at the selling of Alonso, Bellamy, Crouch, Warnock, Hyppia, Garcia, Murphy, Sissoko, Keane and the failure of some of his buys: Dossena, Babel, Lucas, Kuyt to cut the mustard (imho) along with the failure of his 'youth' buys to develop into first teamers then you cannot suggest the man has been a success!

but you definitely can't call him a failure either
