Should never have been signed. I suspect he either wanted to use Liverpool as a bridge to United, Chelsea or Arsenal or to return to a great Ajax side. Either way his heart was never at Liverpool a waste of a talent and one that won't be missed. He wouldn't have been fit to scrub Barnes's boots 20 years ago.

Can’t say i’m sorry to see him go. He had talent, but he came to Anfield believing he was the finished article....he wasn’t.  He then lacked the desire (or intelligence) to apply and improve.

One thing’s for sure, we won’t be recouping our 12 million

Has he actually signed for them yet? I can't see any confirmation.

Thanks but no thanks Ryan. Summed up all that's been bad with LFC the last few years. Terrible attitude, seemed more interested in Twitter and rapping than putting in a shift on the park. Ironically was not one of the many poor Benitez signings in that he might have been good enough if he had anything between the ears. Turns out he didn't..so just added to the number of flops and poor signings brought into LFC the past few years. I looked at a list recently and besides Torres/Mash/Reina and a few others (some are still to soon to make a call on) it really is scary the number of players that have come in that were far from good enough for this club.

Hoffenheim : "We are convinced that he is a big gain for us with his character traits and his sporting qualities."

"Character trails" and "Sporting qualities"..well good luck with that
