LIVERPOOL V UNITED

JONES - 4 dived the wrong way for their first but couldn't do much about the other 2
JOHNSON - 6 was doing okay until he went off injured
SKRTEL - 6 probably the pick of our defenders on the day
LOVREN - 3 how many of the goals we've conceded this season has he played a starring role in?
MORENO - 5 did okay, made good use of his pace on a couple of occassions to chase down United's wide men
HENDERSON - 4 not sure what he has got to do to get dropped, showed all the deftness and weight of pass of a bull elephant.
ALLEN - 2 had an absolute stinker, let Valencia waltz past him for their first and passed it to red shirts all game, pity we were playing in yellow
GERRARD - 3 in his prime one of the best players I've ever seen, now he's one of the worst DM's I've ever seen
COUTINHO - 6 bit lax in possession at times but some nice moments as well.
STERLING - 6 hard to be too harsh on him because he was a genuine threat but Jesus Christ his finishing was abysmal
LALLANA - 6 was doing okay I thought, surprised he was subbed at HT, maybe his ribs were giving him grief

SUBS

TOURE - 6 did well, should have been on from the start
BALOTELLI - 6 did okay, looked a threat and probably should have scored, at least his shots had power behind them
MARKOVIC - 5 didn't have much involvement but his run and pass that put Balotelli through was absolutely superb. Should have started IMO.

Manure V Liverpool 14th December EPL

Jones - 3 - Clueless keeper, a poor back up player, even worse than mig
Skrtel - 6 - best of a bad bunch at the back
Lovren - 4 - caught out for the umpteenth time this season
Johnson - 4 - felt like he was looking for an excuse to leave the pitch, no stomach for it
Moreno - 4 - didn't contribute a great deal and exposed on first goal
Henderson - 4 - no idea where Hendo of last season has gone
Allen - 3 - vulnerable, light weight, exposed badly for rooneys goal
Gerrard - 3 - didn't even realise he was on pitch for most of game
Coutinho - 5 - huffed and puffed
Lallana - 6 - looked decent in first half, but no support
Sterling - 7 - tried and tried, not a natural striker, not his fault tho playing out of position

Substitutes:
Toure - 6 - thought he was solid enough, but his run up field left us open at the back for their 3rd goal
Balotelli - 3 - awful player
Markovic - no score - wasn't on long enough to effect the game

Jones 4 - awful mate, positioning was so poor for the 3rd.
Skrtel 5 - meh
Lovren 4 - awful mate
Johnson 5 - meh
Moreno 4 - 16m for that?
Henderson 4 - worldclass performance
Gerrard 4 - he is done.
Allen 3 - chasing shadows
Coutinho 6 - probably the only player who was trying, poor positioning for the 1st goal
Lallana 6 - looked really good, still have no idea why Rodgers took him off?! ridiculous decision
Sterling 6 - never a false 9, never a striker, but was decent

Subs:
Balotelli 5 - good touches
Toure 5 - never a rightback
Markovic 5 - ok?

Jones - 5 should have done better for the goals but commanded his area better and distributed well at times.
Johnson - 4 didnt miss him when he went off
skrtel - 6 hands down best defender at the club  :nod
lovren - 3 Can't believe we signed him
moreno - 4 was poor
allen - 3 such a weak player and wtf was he doing in the hole
henderson - 3 again another poor performance. ashley young was allowed to shield a ball out of play from about 15 yds and all hendo would do is rub himself against him. put the foot in you muppet.
gerrard - 4 never in the game and typical brendan reverting back to the role he created for him.
coutinho - 4 not physical enough to impose himself but not helped because we have far too many like him
lallana - 5 will the ribs be offered as an excuse ? shouldnt have started
sterling - 5 great running to get himself into the positions but man is he lacking in finishing. every attempt he had was as bad as his first.

toure - 5 would have brought him on for lovren instead and someone else for johnson
balotelli - 5 worked hard and got stuck in but he should have done better with the 2 chances he had.
markovic - 5 love those diagonal runs but ended up playing mostly in our own half.

Jones 4 - change your keeper against Manu away????????????????
Skrtel 5 - Lovren made him look world class
Lovren 3 - dire
Johnson 5 - was okay when on
Moreno 5 - some good tackles but needs to cut out the crosses
Henderson 4 - never a wing back, needs to be dropped
Gerrard 4 - stroller
Allen 3 - why?
Coutinho 6 - tried hard but list Rooney for 1st goal
Lallana 6 - looked good
Sterling 6 - good runs, good positioning, lousy finishing

Subs:
Balotelli 5 - did ok
Toure 5 - should have started
Markovic 5 - another played out of position

JONES - 5 Did ok, at least not much worse than Mignolet. I dont mind rotating keepers when Mignolet is playing badly, but against Manu away?
JOHNSON - 5
SKRTEL - 6 After 100(?) mill spent on the defense he is still the best we got.
LOVREN - 3
MORENO - 5
HENDERSON - 4
ALLEN - 2 Worst player on the pitch. Why he wasnt subbed i'll never understand
GERRARD - 4 One great pass to Moreno.
COUTINHO - 5 Tried to create, but did fuckall defending.
STERLING - 6 Needs to work on his finishing
LALLANA - 6 Its a mystery why he was subbed

SUBS

TOURE - 5 did ok.
BALOTELLI - 6 Did ok. Should have scored at least one.
MARKOVIC - 5 Did ok in the little time he was on

Jones - 5 - Distributed and commanded his box alright. Wouldn't really blame him for any of the goals.

Johnson - 5 - Was doing ok till injury
Skrtel - 3 - Woeful, woeful, woeful.... TOO DEEP LAD EVERY F*CKING GAME... A drop off merchant who never learns.
Lovren - 4 - Not much better
Moreno - 2 - Nowhere near ready for this league. The lad is awful, I've never seen a full back out of position so much.

Gerrard - 3 - Can pass a ball... thats about it.
Henderson - 2 - Woeful, blind, rubbish.
Allen - 2  - Rodgers said we'd "love this kid". Well, I can say... no Brendan... you love him... but we certainly don't

Coutinho - 4 - Only footballer we have and is very erratic. Rodgers hasn't played to his strengths what so ever
Lallana - 4 - Nice touches but no nickers, lacks end product for me, would be a good squad player.
Sterling - 5 - Movement was good and looked ok but can't finish for toffee. The lad is good but needs quality around him to flourish, especially at this age.

Subs:

Kolo - 5 - not really a right back but the lad cares. He's not a bad player and for me should partner Lovren at the moment.
Balotelli - 5 - Nice touches but slows attacks down, we need to change the system completely to get the best from him,
Markovic - 4 - At least in his last two games has shown he can kick a ball. Played a lovely pass second half, maybe anoher Smicer if we're lucky.

JONES - 3 What's Lovren like in goal  ???
JOHNSON - 5 Started off OK ,but I'm pretty confident the injury saved his embarrassment
SKRTEL - 6 Should have had Toure alongside him from the off
LOVREN - 3 New song for him..... Basement Jaxx's "Wheres your head at"
MORENO - 5 Played well I thought chased down lost causes and got forward well
HENDERSON - 4 Out of position ,off the pace ,and weak in the tackle.
ALLEN - 2 At least we know he can be consistently bad in two consecutive games.
GERRARD - 2 SORRY ,BUT DID I HEAR THAT RIGHT ,YOU'RE PLAYING ME WHERE BOSS ?
COUTINHO - 6 One of our most inventive players
STERLING - 5 Has this apparent aversion to bringing others into play, who are perhaps better positioned to slot.
LALLANA - 6 Decidedly strange  substitution ,dragging off a player who was creating the most opportunities for Sterling  ???
SUBS

TOURE - 6 Bermuda Triangle ,Shroud of Turin,Lucas being dropped ,Spring heeled Jack ,The Pyramids ,Jack the Ripper ,Kolo being dropped ?
BALOTELLI - 6 Looked good and his movement was excellent ,but a touch ring rusty with his shooting
MARKOVIC - 5 Again showed glimpses of why he should be in the starting eleven.
