If points were awarded for "controlling" games, we'd be virtually unbeatable  :D

What about Pellegrino, Rafa seems to consult with him a lot during games.

i seriously doubt sammy has an opinion.he's probably there just to keep the fans happy.
as for pelligrino,id say rafa listens to him as he seems to have the most input on the touchline.his title is first team coach ??? and that for me explains why we cant string 5 passes together without hoofing!! rafa rated him as a player and now as a coach.
it is worrying the amount of staff rafa has brought to the club and should they leave we will have to restructure from the bottom and could take a number of years to regain our status.

wouldnt surprise me if we see lucas and kuyt joining rafas backroom team in the future :D

come back paco ayesteran we miss you :bowdown

I didnt realise Rafa played centreforward and was expected to net 30 times a season as well as dominate midfield, play alongside Carra and save last minute penalties. He probably passes round the oranges at half time as well.

If thats the case then you're right, he's clearly overweight and not upto it!

Reg mate you know im on the Rafa love train, yes i blame the players but im sorry last night was down to Rafa he could of changed it mate it was so negative it was boring first time this season ive been at the match were everyone is looking at each other and you know there thinking wtf, one sub whats that. Sorry but last night was down to Rafa,
Im still on the train though  might be getting shunted at the mo but im still in me seat :;):

Why are you on "the train"

Is it blind loyalty or do you believe that Rafa is building something great?

She had to get the train to the match.

I don't think Rafa has ever been one to be tempted to riches. At the time he was considering us Beskitas offered him more than what we did and he has been courted by Real on a number of occasions. He is more inclined to look at if the job is a long term project as he will obviously be uprooting his family from life in Liverpool.

Come one mate it's not the first time Rafa has been stubborn with his tactics and it probably won't be the last. That same team (pretty much) beat Spurs so why could they not beat Stoke?

Rafa is to blame for some but the players need to shoulder an equal amount of blame too.

Hes in charge of this great club and his teams abysmal and yet he feeds us such utter :censored: after matches. You get the sense hes taking the p@ss out of us now and frankly we probably deserve it after the backing we have given this idiot. Hell he must think he can get away with anything and we will still raise the roof shouting his name and wave flags with his face on in League 1. Benitez is almost untouchable and he bloody well knows it and milks it every time hes put out in front of the media.

That worried me the most mate, he didn't change anything last night, he just put in Ngog to inject some pace, but he didn't change his passing game, we looked really rigid and one dimensional. I'm always worried that he says that the midfield was working hard and :censored: like that, we needed to inject some fluidity in our play, Pacheco and Aquilani could have gave us a bit of flair. We were poor in the final third, we pumped long balls in the box and we lost alot of possession.

We looked like an average team.. FACT

but he wont be as restricted as he apparently is now when it comes to player transfers so the Juve offer might be tempting.

Obviously what matters is his management of the team but I can see why this frustrates people.

When we perform as badly was we did against Wolves, you want that to be acknowledged by the man in charge so you can feel assured that it's going to put it right. You want to hear something more constuctive, forthright, and perhaps honest to break up the monotony associated with our performances this season.
