Looks like this thread will stay alive, Chelsea drew yesterday which keeps things the same for us. Thankfully we didn't lose any ground but sadly didn't gain any either.

Leicester will seal a spot, tbh they deserve a spot, been close few seasons.

We might aswel field our fringe players and send the rest on holiday. Rather we finish outside Europa spots.

Klopp: Liverpool missing out on Champions League won't affect summer transfer plans

"But I don't think it will change anything. The situation was difficult before and it is difficult after. It is always difficult"

Is that saying that we dont have the funds

Now we're guaranteed a CL winner from Chelsea or City, how does that affect the number of English teams that qualify for next seasons CL?

It doesn’t really

Still only a maximum of 5 but Chelsea look like they are finishing top 4 so it’s going to be 4 only

Last spot will be between Leicester , West Ham and ourselves

Sounds like that to me, in fact sounds like the owners are always crying poverty given what he said at the end there.

In fairness all clubs have to convince players agents the cash doesn't exist anymore so fans just pick up the static and could mis-interpret the signals.

LFC have the cash, to say otherwise is plain daft, they simply don't want to pay over the odds, including paying f'ing agents fees.....

In the end what matters is if the clubs spends or not. If the owners want to put the money in their vault thay will. My guess is they won't spend.

Are they not already looking to spend to sign the French CB ?

If there is money there to spend on players they will , they will also use funds from players sold

Manure and Leicester currently level at 1.1. They went with a shyte side anyway but I hope they stick it to their own and win 2.1
