funny how its two Irish people who think that Given is the 2nd best keeper in the world

the contract signing of Reina is an important step i think, shows were still willing to keep our top players which im sure most will admit was a slight worry with the summer coming and the owners strapped for cash. Hopefully this means there wont be any concerns over Torres, Gerrard and co

Reina is great, but all bias aside, Given is the best in the EPL.

I'd say Casillas is head and shoulders the best in the world.

Pepe would be in my top five, though. He combines ability and character which makes him an outstanding player to have in the team.

Given has been excellent too but I don't think he's obviously better than Pepe. (Bottom line is, you wouldn't complain if you had either of them.)

there's a few new threads cropped up over the boards, and rightfully so about this fella. we've got nothing new to say about his keeping but his character, his passion and his spirit have come in to sharp focus again. if gerrard does leave us then mr pepe reina is my nailed on new captain. he is the man that more than anybody seems to just instinctively sense what we are all about, and he should be payed whatever it takes to keep him here forever.

Cav is a liability. Reina is just as important to us as Torres IMO. off Wenger.
