While im gutted if he goes im actually more p****** about the price he is going at .
If he aint committed to the club then its best for everybody but its still a steal.

As the sayin goes what goes around comes around, look 12 months ago when Kewell was takin the p!$$ out of Leeds and we stole him for 5 million, its exactly the same here i reckon Owens agent has been out to strike up a deal for as cheap as possible, 8 million for a 20 m player is fu**in disgrace, but i bet its cheered leeds fans up a bit, but then again they need fu**in cherrin up!!!

Owen is not the only one to failed the club in this instance. The blame should be equally shared with the imcompetent board of directors, whom I though learn their lesson well after the Macca saga.
...and on Gerard Houllier, not only is he a bad tactician & useless man-manager, he have cost us upwards of £50M (just my ballpark figure) easily with his costly signings and spactacular failures.

another point is how much football will Owen get, hes joinin a club who has argubly the best striker in the world ronaldo, there own prodigy Raul who cannot be dropped and morientes who seems to be in the form of his life, and for however good owen is, i cant see him gettin many chances......i reckon we try and loan him staright back!!! or ronaldo!

Remember, Owen is going to Real suppose for commercial reason and not a football one. Too bad Real miscalculate this time and there might be more people burning Owen's LFC jersey than buying the new one.
