This has been posted about a hundred times already on here and is deffo not going to be the new kit as it was designed using Photoshop by a guy on the RAWK forum. There is still NO official word yet from adidas or the club as to the new design of the kit or a release date as far as i know but expect it to be either between the end of the season and start of the world cup or within a few weeks of the end of the world cup. It probably won't be released during the world cup. In the past the clubs and manufacturers have tended not to release new kits during a major summer tournament as most people will probably be too tied up in the atmosphere of the tournament and won't be too interested in club footie at the time.

Yeah its alot nice than the latest one to hit the forums. Am I the only one who hates the sticker type badge. I know the players prefer wearing them for some reason but still. The good old sown badge was better.

although i know this is a fake- i think if you took the white stripes off the front it would be a very good shirt!! Love the badge as well!

The responsability for the green kits lays firmly at the door of Adidas. I think it all started over something to do with a section of the old Annie road stand that had seats that were the colours of the Italian flag and was known as little italy (i may be wrong    ) i don't know why tough.

I went on the tour of Anfield about 10 years ago and the guide fella was saying something about the reason for the funky coloured seats in the Anfield Road, was years ago one of the Liverpool players was colour blind and that helped him, but I can't remember who he said.

They could be a lot worse. I got a question doing with shirts. Why did Gerrard and Beattie have 08 on their back instead of just 8?

It was to promote the fact that Liverpool will be the Capital of Culture in 2008 - hence 08

The plan was for the shirts to be auctioned off afterwards, but I bet the Marketers didn't see Gerrard's sending off coming.

I really like that kit, even think its nicer than our current home one! Always liked the stuff adidas design its always top class!

One concern though was there not a lawsuit filed against adidas due to them having their three strips running down sleeves of jerseys, something to do with logo size and nike argued that their symbol was small and within the boundaires whereas the three stripes were a symbol and take up each sleeve! its rumours i heard, may not even be true!

It is a top quality kit though, but have my doubts whether its real or not, no offence ciggy!

thats just the olympics.....the three stripes were deemed too associated with the olympics and adidas brought out a new logo for the winter olympics with a row of 3s along the sleeve split with the adidas three lines thru them......

the dude who photoshopped that should be working for adidas...that shirt is brilliant! l like the badge, the crest at the moment is too clustered...I know the Shankly gates are an important icon same as the TWO eternal flames but just the liverbird and maybe two eternal flames on each side would be great........
Thank god reebok are gone......absolute muck....altho the current homeshirt is nice....
