LIVERPOOL VS WEST HAM UNITED - Wed 5th march 08. k/o 8pm

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Lets keep our feet on the ground...we've still got Newcastle to play before we can even think about Inter (which still isn't a forgone conclusion) or who we may get in the next round. Lets not get to carried away.
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

Exactly. Inter are still considered by many the best side in Europe, it is still a very tough game.

It would be funny to add to Newcastle's misery.

We'll get an english team, if we do id prefer chelsea as they seem to be a good omen for us in this comp, while its almost guaranteed united will get the easiest draw.

People that think its a for gone conclution that we are through the CL are living on cloud cuckoo land, its about time they got in the real world.

Ive seen loads of topics on other forums e.g who do we want in the next round  :no we are not even in the next round yet.

And our once solid defence is not any more Inter are quite capable of scoring 3 goals against us, we must not take things for granted.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Wasn't as good as he was against Bolton, but I think with him playing reguarly with the same forward players (Torres, Kuyt and Gerrard) week in week out in the same formation, we're seeing the best of him.

Was a little quiet tonight, but had a half decent game.

Be a walk in the park, the pressure is on Inter to get the goals, a few counters and we'll be 3-0 up before half time ! Or is this a case of over-confidence? 1-1 at the worst.

You could tell from the off his confidence was sky high.

I think he's finding his feet in that 4-2-3-1 formation, if he could improve his finishing he'd be great.

Im chuffed with tonight's performance, we kept going even when 3, 4 nil up. Reminded me of the 80's teams.

Re. This 4-2-3-1 - Maybe Rafa has stumbled on something here, we may have turned a corner.

Who are these two muppets commentating on Sky?

Anyway, Skrtel looks promising.
