1 goal permatch at least...?

Even if Cisse can score 1 match per 1 goal or 1 match per 100 Goals, I think Rafa have already decided to get "rid" of him.

The Question is " Why did Rafa sell him in the beginning of the season, just like Biscan and the others? "

well i dont even expect rushie, fowler or owen to score in every game...let alone fully expecting DJIBRIL CISSE to do that?

nobody can do that.... :no

what's with you? keeps blaming rafa for cisse's incompetence?

In fairness to Crouch Dawson, he has'nt got any pace, Cisse has pace beat a player only through his pace and get a cross in as witnessed in the Everton game at Goodison and against WBA set one up scored one, why could'nt he do the same yesterday?
It was like he had never played for us before.
Rafa must have been livid with him to sub him after 45 mins dont you agree?

Jesus

I cannot believe the moomins on here slating Crouch

That guy has more heart than Cisse ever will have and runs himself ragged and never moans

I saw a pass to Cisse go astray yesterday and he scowled and put his hands on his hips (I would have taken him off for that!!!!)

Our highest haul of points ever and we still have games to go we are consistently picking up points in the games that we llost them last year and we are heading in the right direction with very little funds to do it

Why don't you stop bitching and savour the win

This place really makes me laugh there are so many doom and gloom merchants that really should go and support Chelsea!!!!

Crouch is a good hard working honest player get off his back for fecks sake

Arnt we allowed to critise the players now, after one of the worst performance's by us all season, none of them stood out we are better than Bolton but you would'nt have guessed it yesterday we should have tonked them about 4-0.
Im very happy with the 3 points but Rafa wont be happy with the way we played, expect more of the same though end of season all ready for their hols.

Well done Liverpool. they came to prevent us playing and they did that very well. Great to see robbie score again:D :D

Booing of the team christ one bad of par performance and we are booing. Yes make structure comments but please. Encouregment is what is needed. Bolton were not going to come here and let us tickle them to death.

Another 3 point marching on:D :D

Are you being serious?

If that wasn't an assist, i'd like to know you definition of what is!

No one can deny that crouch has played well this season, i was a critic of his from the start but slowly he won me over. He is arguably the most consistent striker we have. Cisse has scored the most but you never know whether he's going to turn up. Crouch will never be prolific but he makes more of an impact to the team that any other striker we have.

P!sses me off when uninformed fans make stupid comments just to be controversial and get some attention. Real fans ackowledge the players that make this team what it is, and in my opinion no one can deny what Crouch has given us this season.

if Crouch had controlled the ball he would have a shot himself

This one sentance proves how dim you really are. Answer me this, if you actually watched the game, how does a player shoot when he receives the ball from a header mid-air with two defender directly marking him?

One word = idiot

It's people like you that we can't have proper discussion, I am assessing Crouch as an player, i was assessing the play in a fair point of view. On the other hand, your love towards Crouch makes you view biased, how can you call Crouch the most consistent striker in our team?

how does a player shoot when he receives the ball from a header mid-air with two defender directly marking him?

How about by trapping on the ball to his foot like what Crouch was TRYING to do himself, but he couldn't, the ball bouced off his and went straight to Fowler.

Tell me what your definition of Assist is, the last person to touch the ball before the goal scorer kicks the goal?

Let me put stuff into perspective.

1)Chelsea - Drogba & Crespo
2)Scums - RVN, Saha, Rooney
3)Arsenal - Henry, Persie, Reyes, Adabuyol (sp ?)
4)Spurs - Mido, Keane, Defoe

Now compare all these strikers with crouch ...... Thats my point. This is not a dig at rafa cos he made so many awesome buys such as reina, sissoko, garcia & alonso. Crouch is not in the same class as these guys. If we are to move forward, crouch SHOULD NOT BE headlining our front-line. Neither should Morientes nor Cisse. Crouch should be a substitute striker at the very most.

Secondly, our highest haul of points ever ??? If i am not wrong, we got 81 points during the season we finish 2nd to arsenal....

I am happy with the match, although it was dour for long periods. In the second half, especially when Didi came on, Gerrard was released from defensive chores and we played good passes and build-up. Bolton are typically full of energy and hard running, superb organisation and closing down quickly. Bolton are no easy opposition in the EPL, as they were obviously fired up to check a slump in form.

Fowler scored a gem, I don't buy Allardyce's claim of a mishit shot by Fowler and Crouch showed good skill in teeing up Fowler after taking the ball on his thigh and laying it on.

It is pretty obvious that Liverpool are truly short of the required quality to finish top in the EPL and this further highlights the progress and good work of Benitez.

That is what I think of when I see he play ...... I still strongly thinking that if Cisse and Fowler played together upfront, we can win more games.
