You doubt Keane will score but you think Riera will... where are you getting your logic from?

no logic just a lucky guess  :rasp  Just can't see keane scoring yet but i hope he does.

With the Mancs playing City and Chelsea playing Arsenal i feel we could take advantage of this going in to Monday night's game. West Ham will be a tough game but i think we can get the 3pts. Ive been looking forward to this weekend for months.....I don't whant to speak too soon but i think City and Arsenal will come away with wins. Could be a crucial weekend for us

The most important thing is obviously 3 points,i guess that goes without saying.I'd love to see a great team performance with slick flowing football.Lately although we have been doing well it has been far from pretty on too many occasions.I know people will say winning ugly is a good sign and I agree but we cant expect to win ugly so often. We are gonna have to get back into the way of totally dominating teams.A few comfortable wins would be great for us supporters and I'm sure the players moral!
We obviously are still not at our best but its not far off half way point in the season now,its about time we started showing a bit of fluency.
I'd love a 3 or 4-0 win but I'd happily take a 1-0 as long as we play really well!
As for what to expect from Rafa in picking the team...aint got a clue.Personally I hope he goes 4-4-2 because playing Keane alone upfront is just plain daft

If results do go our way lets just hope we dont mess up this opportunity. Dont want another fulham scenario. We have to start scoring at anfield.

I saw the Sunderland game in its entirety last weekend and they looked a very well organised side that play on the break. I know they've had some very dodgy results this season, but  from what I've seen, they look like the kind of side that could park the bus to good effect. They did it against Arsenal for 70 odd minutes.

08/09

Liverpool (h) P7 W5 D2 L0 F11 A4 PTS 17
West Ham (a) P7 W2 D1 L4 F6 A11 PTS 7

Liverpool's home dropped points - Fulham and Stoke (0-0 draws)
West Ham's away wins - Fulham and Sunderland.

Should point towards a win, although they beat a side away that we couldn't even score against at home. That said they lost AT HOME to the bitters, we won away to the same opponents. Even ARSENAL beat them, and at UP for that matter. WATFORD beat them in the League Cup and they're flirting with relegation in the CHAMPIONSHIP. Their wins in the league overall are :

Blackburn (h) 19th
Newcastle (h) 18th
Sunderland (a) 17th
Wigan (h) 15th
Fulham (a) 9th

So all but one of their wins over opponents in the bottom six and therefore below them in the table.

I'd prefer to play with 10 men than risk Dossena...hope Rafa goes with Arbeloa,Agger,Hyypia,Carragher for a few weeks
