Totally agree. that's why some of us went off the previous manager, it's all about results at the end of the day.

Yep - and you were entitled to your opinion without being insulted hence why so should I .

I might have been entitled to it but it didn't happen over often  . There are occasions when it still doesn't, but there you go.

me too Nan I think I've posted the last two summers I'd love him here and now he is. Granted he was a bit underwhelming last season but I'm sure he'll come back stronger and have his best years at Liverpool

Welcome Joe, to the best club in the world

Appears a great signing.  I just hope it does not turn into a Harry Kewell signing wherby his best days are gone and he spends his time in the treatment room.

What the fuck is wrong with some of you on here. Enjoy the signing FFS.

Clearly better than Benayoun, what's with the moaning and negativity?

The negative ones on here are almost as destructive as the owners, makes me sick.

Igor Zidane wrote:The only concern i have with cole coming to us is his last injury .It was a career threating one and he's done well to come back from it . I'm just uneasy as too why Chelsea let him go knowing the extent of that injury . If he comes and stays fit i think he will bring  some much needed flair and attacking ability to the team .

Agreed Igor. This is the risk you take with a new signing but if he was always fit we would never have got him on a free. We've been unlucky with Aquilani, Degen and Aurelio - hopefully we get lucky with Cole.

Sell Yossi for £5m and bring in Joe Cole on a free....? Absolute top class business that Roy should be congratulated on.

Send out a wider message as well. Gerrard and Torres on there way out? Don't think Cole would have signed had that been the case. Gives Roy the option to drop Gerrard back into MF and play Cole off of Torres or play Cole as part of fluid 3 (take your pick of Jovanovic, Kuyt, Gerrard, Babel, Pacheco) behind Torres.

If he gets regular football then we have a really good addition to the squad.

Well done Roy.
