City have just signed this striker from you.

Looks a bit like Gerrard and if he's half the player, then we will have found a bargain!

Just wondered what you thought of him and what sort of player he is.

Thanks for your replies in advance and good luck next season.

I seen him in a couple of reserve games and he looked really good.

He plays as Attacking Midfielder/Striker and is a really good finisher.
I am really surprised we've let him go as he was an excellent prospect for the future.:(

STEVEN GILLESPIE, YEAH, I BELIEVE HE DID WELL IN OUR YOUTH ACADEMY
Steve Gerrard Gerrard,
He'll pass the ball 40 yards,
He's quick and he's f*cking hard,
Steve Gerrard Gerrard.

Good at under 19's and looked ok at reserve level.

Could possibly be a division 1 standard player in my opinion, seen him 6 times in all. Was never going to be a premiership player, but i think hell do really well for your lot...

Keep us upto date on his progress during the season if you remember. :)

Gillespie scored 19 goals in 19 games for the under 19's and then did well in the reserves towards the end of the season. Surprised we let him go so early in his apprenteship. Hope he does well though!

Just wait until he's 38 and he scores 38 goals in 38 games - cool!
