How can you say that?
Show us your reasoning behind such a statement.
THERE'S A GREAT BIG BEAUTIFUL TOMORROW SHINING AT THE END OF EVERY DAY.
THERE'S A GREAT BIG BEAUTIFUL TOMORROW AND TOMORROW IS JUST A DREAM AWAY.

THOUGHT I'D GET ALATE BID IN AND AFTER MUCH DELIBERATION I'D SAY YOU CAN'T BEAT A BIT OF SHANKS A TRUE PRO . :)
When you get the ball, I want you to beat a couple of men and smash the ball into the net, just the same way you used to at Bury," said Shankly. Lindsay replied: "But Boss that wasn't me, it was Bobby Kerr." Shankly turned to Bob Paisley and said: "Christ Bob, we've signed the wrong player."

1. SHANKLEY (the master, had a vision and belief and enforced it, he made us the club we are today and gave us our place in history. True legend.)
2. PAISLEY (quietly took on the job he didn't really want and won more or less everything! 3 European cups and 6 league titles is astounding!)
3. DALGLISH (another legend, his 6 years in charge saw some of the best football i've ever seen and 3 league titles. i'm still trying to come to terms with his resignation even now!)

rasclots got to be either french,a wind up merchant or cheesey`s alter ego. houllier installed discipline into a squad where players seemed to call the shots and some of his off the field decisions were both brave and correct (selling fowler).
but in my humble opinion liverpool football club will never win the title with houllier as manager. his natural style is to err on the side of caution and while this may pay dividends on the continent in england the title has to won by going to tough away grounds and getting wins not draws.you dont pinch the title with 1 nil wins at home, you have to turn weaker teams over 3,4,5 nil a`la man united. as the one of his predecessors said the league title is liverpools bread and butter, the cups are nice but dont prove you are the best team in the land.
untill he wins the prem he cant be compared to shankly or paisley.
