I wish, He would never go there would he?

No I'm being serious, I think there is some kind of clause along those lines.

Impossible no one would agree to something like that

Back to Michael Owen.....

I couldn't give a sh!t where he goes TBH, he's a snivelling rat in my book and i'm glad he's getting his comeupance. Missed out on the best trophy in Europe and is now 5th in the pecking order of strikers.

A move from Liverpool is always a step down - and it's certainly shown that the grass isn't always greener.  :grinning:

If that is true how can he be linked with ManUre ?

I thought we had first refusal in the contract clause ?

But that has nothing to do with us preventing a move to ManUre if we dont want him.

There is a clause in his deal.  I just can't remember.  Does anyone know what it is?

and as far as  isee it, we've got a great chance of winning in Germany!, No offence MHP but i'm sure come next summer if we stuff germany in the final you'll  be havin a dance! and claim you knew all along!

Of course I will. Manhattan is treacherous.

First of all, how is Owen the 'logical' choice for chelsea if they don't get Essien??

Because Chelsea are wealthy and they'll want to buy someone if they can't get Essien. As long as it's a "big name".

For you to say you don't give a flying  about England is all very well mate, but I bet you'll be dancing in the street if they manage to win the world cup this summer.

That's the plan. If they lose Manhattan can say he knew they would fail. If they win, I'll just say I was having a bad day and lost my patriotic spirit.

No we can't do that FFS, be serious

I believe we have first option on Owen, which means that if any team comes in for him with a bid, we have the option of matching that bid and speaking to Owen before Madrid accepts the other team's bid and allows Owen to speak to them.

Unless we try and sign Owen ourselves, there's nothing we can do to stop united buying him

He wants to play world cup football, he will not play if he stays at Madrid, I am sure he is moving back to England, even on loan, and I am almost 100% positive he will not play for liverpool.

He didn't play much for Madrid last season but still was first choice for England.

That cant continue forever he will eventually need regular first team football.

Surely Sven cant be that bias .

Well he and Beckham seem to be Sven's favourite players. He doesn't have the balls to drop either one of them.
