Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

For those who question his attitude, when was the last time you heard of him causing any trouble?  I've not heard of him having any problems since he's moved from Newcastle.  Is it possible that he's put those youthful indiscretions behind him and now realizes that this is a second bite at the cherry that he can't afford to feck up?

I understand the misgivings since he's been carrying this reputation for several years but, honestly, has he done anything recently that was out of line or are the critics punishing him for things he's done long ago?

In any case, at 6 million he's a snip and adds new dimensions to our attack.  Hopefully Rafa will bring another striker in this summer that adds even more to our play and we can go into this season with Bellamy as just one of many spokes in the Liverpool wheel, as it were. :D

JC, I'm only going on what I was told by a mad keen Celtic season ticket holder (you of course may have a better source) .
Money was a problem ,Bellamy wanted Celtic to give him a higher wage to stay in the Spl than Blackburn were offering for the move back to the EPL ,Celtic were naturally not impressed and many "teamates were already F'ucked off with his "Big I Am" attitude (suprise suprise) . Bellamy was also demanding a similar get out clause to the one offered by Blackburn .Celtic again were not impressed by the apparent lack of commitment, wished him well and moved on.

I am in agreement with Woof but the only positive I can think of is he wants the big time and he is a fan.  I am torn between the guy settling down and doing great and the possibility of him causing trouble and being offloaded in a year or two.  I think we would get the six million back for him but its not all about the money.

He was cocky as a youngster but that seems to enhance his game. If he settles he could be a great purchase

I do agree ( I hope we will sign Defoe ) but this Liverpool is lead by Rafa . If Rafa wants Bellamy, I think he will get Bellamy ...

Bellamy is better than Defoe mate.

He's a gamble - of that there is no doubt. But so is every transfer, and according to my mate (who goes to loads of games and is usually spot-on in his assessments of the Newcastle squads), Bellamy ONLY disrupted things because SOuness was a w*nker to him, and because his team-mates weren't putting in the effort he demands.
Shearer - the one player there who DID satisfy Bellamy with his work-rate, said that Craig was the best partner he'd ever had. (Sheringham, OWEN, Ferdinand, etc.) Yes it's a case of "I'm playing with him now", but Sh*trer had no need to lie. He could probably have had Bellamy out if he'd have wanted it.

Can anyone see this situation arising at Anfield?

to the tune of the theme from "saved by the bell"

When I see thet we're not scoring
And Pa-ko gives out a warning
I don't think we're gonna win it this time
But then Rafa gives a look
And we start to come unstuck
If we can get the ball to Craig then it'll be alright
Its alright cos we're saved by the Bell

i'll get me coat   :D

He was just a scape goat for Souness, simple as that, he wasn't any problem at Norwich, Coventry or Blackburn.

The lad is a tallent at £6.5 and SG/JC will keep the lad in line   :;):

i certainly hope he comes, and he will cos he would be joining a very good team.

Do you have to resort to name-calling just because someone has a different opinion to yours?

What right do you have to call anyone on this forum stupid? ???

Pi$$ off and grow up...

Until you do, your opinions mean nothing to me.

As I've said before, I have no time for children or imbeciles...

if my opinions have no meaning why read and reply to it c@ck head,

go back to where you come from.

Michael get your hat too

:D

I really hope he comes

If you had seen him play more than once on a football pitch you would have seen that he has excellent movement and he is a nightmare to mark

Imagine Bellamy & Fowler up front

Rafa yet again you are the best

You've contradicted yourself, coz earlier you were on your high-horse about behaviour.
