Can Cissohko play RB? that's how good I thought Johnson's performance was against Sunderland.

Everything he did was *****, every touch of the ball, every pass, cross, shot. Really stood out in that game.

We better have this sorted asap

Slow in posession and not knowing what to do when he had the ball.

It's baffling to watch when he is like that, he looks like he hasnt got a clue what he should be doing at times.

It's strange isn't it?  When he was in a defensive minded side he looked very good.  Now that he is in a side with a more getting forward approach  he looks like a standard issue RB and not an International player.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

Maybe Dr Steve Peters hasnt spoken to him yet because he has zero confidence in his own ability?
Shocking last night and looked like he was playing his own game oblivious to other players

There are some professionals that play for purely for money and don't particularly love the game and Johnson
must be one of those surely.

I think we will know for sure in the summer.

Cissokho is mess as well ,the only reasonable option i see is moving Agger to LB ,getting Sakho back and that's that.
This Summer Glen should be release and finally we can get this position sorted ,don't like the way we cling to a player which has 2 good games a season.

I stated a little while ago that I think Johnson has had a bad time of it.  That said, I don't think anything as drastic as putting Agger at LB or shifting Cissokho to the right is the answer.  I was meaning long term. Certainly not a drastic change during a title chase.

Yeah looks like the only option.

Such a shame Johnson looks so pedestrian, it's a title run for fook's sake you'd think he could lift his game.

We cannot and will not change Johnson now but if speculation is true the club has been looking at other options
to replace in the summer.

Ironically I can see him playing a blinder in Brazil when it suits at the end of a deal and moving on as I doubt performances
there will increase our offer.

You watch him go with the world watching.

I don't doubt you.  He'll play well in a defensive minded team with true license to get forward and two holding midfielders and a defensive minded right midfielder supporting him in a 4-4-2.  Just seems that he is a bit unsure of himself in our setup.

Drop him. Horrible player. Maybe BR might take a gamble like he did with Flanagan earlier, and promote Ryan Mclaughlin.

He's had an awful season but he was certainly better after he came back from injury. Couldn't have been any worse I hear you say !! Against Sunderland however he didn't have a good game. I'm sure BR will play him against Spurs and hopefully he will do a lot better. Difficult period to throw in another youngster. I think Ryan is on loan to Barnsley until the end of the season.

It seems like some of our loanees are doing pretty well. Robinson, Wisdom, Assaidi, Suso and Borini. Hopefully we see some of them in our colors next season.

Our mediocre performance against Sunderland wasn't just down to Johnson. Plenty of other players didn't have the best of games either.
Infact I'd go as far as to say only Coutinho, Agger and Flanagan did themselves justice on the night.
Even though we've been winning games and scoring goals I don't think we've been at the top of our game recently, I think the last time we were firing on all cylinders was the 5-1 demolition of Arsenal.
Most of our best performances have come in the big games, hopefully that sequence continues the weekend.

Since he returned from injury he has had one poor game against Sunderland which we won. Has looked more like an England international recently. Gets a lot of criticism (me included) but his attitude and ability could be pivotal during the next 6 games. He is one player who frustrates the life out of me. His title winning experience may just be invaluable and not just on the pitch. Keeping some of the younger players heads in the right place is not going to be easy.
