Gawd Yakka that's just fkg depressing !! I tried to forget that we had to go back that far for a win at Anfield. Attitude and determination is going to win this won. Keep the ball as far away from our defence as possible

Yeah that is quite a while back, we've been a bit unlucky once or twice since that last win though mate, I remember one game under Kenny where it was probably our best performance of the season (we hit both posts, shots cleared off the line etc) but ended up falling for the proverbial sucker punch late on and Hodgson was seconds away from pulling off an unlikely win with 10 men until reina dropped a clanger in injury time.
They've got a great record at anfield there's no doubting that but they have rode their luck too.

Looking at the performance against them at the emirates last year we should have won that and somehow only got a draw.

Without a doubt we have the best player that will grace that pitch tomorrow in Luis.

One thing that I can see a problem apart from our defence is how strong in depth they are

Cazorla
Ozil
Podolski
Wilshere
Arteta
Chamberlain

They are all top players. If Gerrard has a good game im sure that we will keep them quiet however if he doesnt I fear for us

On the plus side, Arsenal also have a few players out of this one. Ramsey and Walcott are injured while Flamini is suspended. Wilshere is doubtful, so they might have to play with Arteta and Oxlade-Chamberlain in their midfield.

I really don't relish the thought of watching as we sit back and allow Arsenal the lions share of the ball ,because we're simply too deficient at the back, and
have a ridiculously inadequate midfield .. ...So, I'm absolutely delighted Flamini is out for this one ,because his performances thus far have been monstrous.

If Rodgers sets us up to push forward and attack from the off , then we have an outside chance ,flimsy but nevertheless more of a chance if we continue
with this foolhardy notion we can afford visiting teams a disproportionate amount of possession, especially ones as clinical as Arsenal.

Liverpool 1 Arsenal 0 and such a scoreline demands an ominous performance from the redmen.

Key player ,Coutinho, this kid when he's on blob is a veritable game turner.....We need a passing master class from this lad tomorrow to have any chance.

Is Allen available for this one ?

We desperately need bodies in the middle of the park for this one and someone like Allen could very much prove to be the difference between a narrow win and a big defeat. They have Cazorla, Podolski and Ozil who are all playing well and with Arteta/Wilshere/Rosiscky/Chamberlain in the middle we'll struggle to keep them from dominating the ball with our current setup.

Starting 11: Mignolet, Flanagan, Cissokho, Toure, Skrtel, Gerrard, Henderson, Sterling, Coutinho, Suarez, Sturridge

Weak midfield again. I hope Brendan knows what he's doing.

Hmm.. If we had options I might complain. Times like these a spare defensive mid would be so handy.

Right people - this is a f*cking monster game - CMON REDMEN!!!!

I really think we're going to win this today,  3-1 is the way I see it going. We'll score first Suarez, then 1:1, Coutinho 2:1 with Hendo adding the gloss to avoid a nail-biting finish.

Can't wait.
