Publicly or not, it doesn't matter really. As he states in his letter, the club were informed by Reina himself that he would like them to consider offer from Barca.

As much as I love him and respect him, he did this to himself. Time to move on.

The main problem I have is the way the club acted - Pepe asked them to consider any offer from Barce - that's Pepe being open to them - So Pepe is being honest to them - and yet they arranged a loan without telling him. Also BR has stated that he told Pepe "Months ago that he would be signing a GK to give him competition" - so BR was after a GK regardless of what Pepe said. He then states that the two will fight out for the number 1 slot and then sends him out on loan !

It was wrong from the club to not tell Pepe that we're going to loan him. But do you really think that this whole thing would have happened if Reina didn't consider a move away from the club? Honest or not, he still wanted to leave and that's not really a thing that your boss would appreciate. When his move to Barca fell through, the club should have took note of his previous honesty and told him that they still want him out, but other than that, the club did nothing wrong. The management is not at fault for Pepe's departure, he did that to himself.

No, because Rafa "gets us". Rafa cost us Alonso, nobody else, just Rafa. Of course you will not hear it, or indeed make up more bs. Or just simply excuse rafa as he "gets us". The long and short of the Alonso saga is this, Rafa wanted Gareth Barry ahead of Alonso. FACT. It amazes me how many people fail to mention this when it comes to Alonso leaving. Alonso loved the club, Rafa wanted some half assed loser to replace him.

So, to present day. Reina told the club if Barcelona wanted him he would be off, the club replied with ok we are not your first choice and therefore you are not ours, and only you benny have a problem with this, nobody else. Everyone else is in agreement that the club acted right, acted in the best interests of the club.

Except you Benny, only you have a problem. This forum has one big problem, and its you benny, you are a wind up merchant. You don't consider others opinion unless its something you can argue with, you knock the decisions made at every opportunity and I can honestly say you have not once given support to this club in all your posts.

He was totally disrespectful about the Farcalona thing and its not our fault this completely back-fired in his face.

To his shock he found out the hard way that he ain't no Suarez, we won't put up with that s**t and off you go lad.

After being here for 7 years I personally expected more from him, poor form on his behalf to bleet like a little sheep to the media that the club wronged him.

A club that paid him handsomely in the time he was here, even when his form dramatically dipped in the last 2 seasons.

BTN has requested that more people ignore him. I have been successfully managing to do this for quite some time at the advice of a respected long time poster. Unfortunately over the last couple of days I found it impossible to ignore some of his opinionated and factually incorrect nonsense.BTN is incapable of accepting that he is ever wrong and it really is pointless debating anything with him.FOR THE SAKE OF THIS FORUM JUST DO WHAT HE IS ASKING AND IGNORE HIM.I certainly won't be bothering with him again in the future.

I don't buy into the 'ignore' feature as it leaves holes in a thread discussion. I was finding it hard to read the threads with gaping gaps where I'd ignored him. So I took him off ignore. at least the thread flows now.

The problem Benny is that if all the people  who found you an annoying little tw@t put you on ignore then you'd find this place very very lonely. 
Actually I suggest that we all do put Benny on ignore, I for one and am sick to death of his circular and interminable arguments ruining every single thread on here, he is just being diffcult for the sake of being difficult, you constantly contradict yourself and change your opinion to start an argument, its patehtic and childish.

I don't use the IGNORE feature for the same reason. I simply don't respond to 99% of his posts. Not worth the trouble mate. He is on here virtually full time and I'm beginning to feel a little bit sorry for him. Being SIGNIFICANT on a forum is important to him which gives you some idea of what you are up against.

For someone who "constantly" states that he ignores me you really can't stop posting about me to slate me.

If you really want to ignore me then actually do it - don't respond to me , don't even mention me or even post about me. Does it make you feel a big person by abusing people character on a message board all because they share an opinion that you don't agree with

Now all we need is the mods to stop the Sh*t that we have just seen in the last page worth of posts - a free for all slating posters - or is that how it is on the forum now ?

Is it ok to send abusive PM's to other posters ? Is it ok to post abusive posts about posters on threads ? Is it ok to constantly hound posters on threads ?

What are the rules now or are there no rules now ? 

All this comes down to the simple fact that I may share a different opinion to others - and yet some people believe that entitles open season to abuse people.

If people really are that upset about me then let me know the next home game they are at and then they can come and discuss my opinion to my face and see if they call me abusive names then.

This is a forum FFS - it's supposed to be about differing opinions - I don't abuse others because they disagree with my opinion - I try and counter it and debate it. If you can't do that without throwing abuse then why the f*ck are you posting on a forum in the first place.
