The pronunciation of his sir name might difficult for those without a slavonic tongue. We'll have to wait to see how he pronounces his name first, but I've been told it could be either - 'Skirtull', or 'Skrtel' with a severely trilled 'r'.
You've got a mate.

At Middlesbrough, and for the first time since September, Daniel Agger will feature in a Liverpool squad. Although Sami Hyypia and Jack Hobbs have struggled manfully to fill the gap, one is 34 and the other desperately inexperienced. Nowhere in the Liverpool defence is there much pace.
"It was clear that we needed a centre-back," said Benitez, who is reluctant to allow Hyypia to leave for Fulham. "We had some problems there in certain games because the defenders were tired.
"We wanted someone who was aggressive, good in the air and who has pace, and Martin is good in all these areas. January is not the best time to sign good players and we don't want to put too much pressure on those that we do sign. Agger took time to settle in the first six months and now everybody can see what a fantastic player he is."
When asked the question that has dogged his reign - why can Liverpool pull off astonishing victories in the Champions League and still struggle to make a credible title challenge? - Benitez points to past weaknesses in the squad, a problem he believes is being addressed season by season.
"You know our plan to build for the future," he said. "Agger, Reina, Mascherano, Gerrard, Torres - players that can perform for three or four years for us without any problems."
Middlesbrough, with its empty seats and industrial surrounds, has been something of an elephant trap for the Big Four and should Liverpool lose then the talk will be of crisis, something Benitez is prepared to deal with.
"I have been a manager for 21 years now. I know I am young for a manager but I have had 21 years of this. I do not have any problem with my ability or any doubt about the quality of the squad.
"To finish second is nothing, to finish third is nothing, to finish fourth is nothing. If you want to win the title, you have to beat Wigan and Middlesbrough.
Maybe he just forgot to mention Alonso............. maybe

Anydody have any idea who they might have been ?.
Heard from a very good source woof that Rafa was interested in the young kid Crespo a center half who plays for Seville but they ended up offering him a pro contract .
