Sack him. if you want the manager sacked - ...put your thoughts in here.

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

in my view what happend today in the newsroom is that they got a report of a manager getting the sack and they was sure it was Rafa and others sent the same info in, when the man city stuff come out they did not drop the Rafa sacking reports as they were still coming in, so they are holding them just in case.

This league is starting to turn into a farce. I blame them b@stards Chelsea for f*cking the transfer market to begin with. Seems that their mantra is the only one these days.

If he doesnt go before our next game then i dont think he will go until the earliest end of the season. Its ridiculous now Losing 7 games out of 18. Spending 20 million on a player who hasnt started a game for us and wasnt even on the bench today. Rafa needs to go and he needs to go today. Lost all faith in rafa and i do not have an ounce of confidence in the team at the moment

You also said that Kuyt pushed Rafa from said News room, which didnt happen.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

IF he stays then we can all kiss goodbye to a top four finish....more like a mid table finish?

Stay or go, we won't finish in the top four anyway unless those shower of shyte grow a spin and start trying to win games. Getting rid of Benitez won't garauntee f*ck all. A plan of action needs to be put in place from the owners, but they're clueless c*nts anyway.

Yeah, the Guus is sorted where he is. Getting fat and coveting his golden egg...

I feel for Rafa Benitez. He must be armed with sufficient knowledge that at least half of the assembled squad (albeit his squad) are not up to the task - and more than likely never will be.

But, that is a sad indictment for a club of this prestige at this time. Players like Gerrard and Carragher (local, lifeblood players...the very core of all that LFC aspires to project in its image) may well never see the so-called Premier League title arrive before retirement beckons.

Its a shame - a 'bloody mess' and an utter travesty that last year was so close....maybe the nearest they will get.

As I said earlier, there wasn't a single player in red out there today with balls big enough to call himself a LFC player. Not one of them in recent games man enough to wear that shirt. Manager included.
Rafa - stick this in your bleedin' notepad for a change "Must show games from the 80's to the lads instead of lessons in zonal marking or tactics....."

What plan of action do you anticipate americans, with absolutely no knowledge of football, to come up with ?

They bought into this notion that there were 4 top clubs in the premier league and that there was no competition. Therefore they were getting a market leading "brand" which couldnt fail.. As long as Liverpool remained a top 4 team, then they were laughing all the way to the bank.

What the stupid moronic idiots didnt bank on was other clubs being taken over by big spending owners, and a credit crisis that would scupper any hopes of re-financing to alleviate the astronomical levels of debt.

Over at OT, we've known what was coming since before the gormless gnome took over. Anyone with half an ounce of knowledge of football knows that football is cyclical and no team can sustain top four finishes indefinitely.

Glazer boiught United believing they would sustain their position at the top. With a top manager, great players and muppets who'll just keep paying to see them, no matter what the cost, then he was onto a dead cert winner.

Sadly he didnt bank on other clubs getting new owners, didnt bank on Ronaldo deciding the grass was greener in Madrid, and most of of he didnt bank on Unted fans suddenly clocking onto what he was up to, and stopping paying..

Dont believe the hype that OT is full every week. Unless our fans are now taking up going to matches dressed up as a red empty seats, then the attendance figures they give you are about as believable as the story that they are succesfully managing the debt.

United are not managing the debt. The lack of spending on QUALITY players, is becoming more apparant by the day. All these big purchases we have made are all on credit. And because clubs know we cant afford to pay cash for players, they are driving up the price. The DFS deal of football. Buy now, pay later...

Going back to your point, about the americans coming up with a plan. The plan is simple... .Cut costs, whack up ticket prices, rely on fans to just keep on paying, and hope like hell that the team finishes in the top 4.

That is there plan. That was always there plan. Just the same as its the plan that the Glazers have....

If you are asking them for a plan which makes the team better, you may as well ask me to give you a lift up to the moon on my bike. Thats more realistic and far more achievable.

but dont that just Rafa that he is the one that has got it wrong, if he is the person that has hand pick the players to come to the club then he must know its down to that they are not that good.

anyway i feel its more than that, you dont go from a good team to a very poor team due to the loss of one player, its more than that, the team dont trust him, most of them can not work him out, thet dont understand what he is asking them to do or why he is asking them to do it, they dont understand the subs that are made and i bet a few dont understand the team sheet most games.
