If we can look at the positives and remember that when everyone is fit we still have a great first team and at the moment ...well we are playing with the bare bones of an inadequate squad. I think there are managers who are good in this league that would get more out of this team then rafa I think that and I am sticking with it.

Who?

redknapp , bruce , Hodgson to name a few don't care what people say they are top managers and know this league inside out.If you wanna win the league you need a manager who is good in the league and those managers are.

redknapp?

Bruce?

You've got to be taking the p!ss

No not at all I don't live in dream world where we need over priced managers.with bigger egos then the players.Look at our history of managers and you see there is one thing we do wrong each time we take overseas and never get close to league.Don't bring up evans cos he was just not good enough.

Dazzer, you honestly believe the likes of Bruce and Redknapp can take us to the next level? b*llox, not even close to being top quality managers.

Bruce is a Manc and bessies with Sir Alex - FACT

Redknapp is a mercenary - FACT

All English! Decent as they are, for me, no better than Rafa!

They aren't even in the same league, no pun intended.

bye bye Rafa, you had the money you had the time and you still could not get the CL out of your mind, you never understood it the PREM the liverpool fans after.

yes you were short of players today but you made some bad subsand i think your time is up.

May i suggest you take time to digest what has happened today and then think on it some more before posting knee-jerk reactions.

If Rafa had taken his eye completely off the Lyon game and we went on to get beaten in midweek, you would probably have still come on here calling for his head regardless.

Today was a disaster, but he couldn't control the sendings off or the fact that Vorinon has completely forget how to play football.

Question for you.

Who would come in and do a better job than Rafa? Be realistic in your answer. Don't forget that any new manager will have to work with what's their and wont get much in the way of transfer kitty. So what do you expect any new 'messiah' to achieve?

any manager that put winning the prem over the CL would do for me right now.

They don't always play that football and for what its worth alot better then some of stuff we played this year.Plus with gerrard/Torres and other players I think it would be better.
