Not at all. My point is that if you decide you've had enough of the manager, it should be a considered decision you reach over a period of time, not a reaction because we've lost a couple of matches. People saying "sack him now" and such like is just daft, knee jerk stuff.

Ultimately whoever you think should be the manager, people should try and wish for what is best for the club. Fairly obviously at this moment in time, at this juncture, what is best for the club is leaving the man in charge. Should we go out oif Europe, out of the Cups and by the wayside in the league that might change, but even then you have to consider who amongst likely candidates is actually out of work.

I'm not a Benitez fan and haven't been for some time (as you know) but I do want whats best for the club. Right now that is him staying and us getting things going, we re-assess at the end of the season.

I really dont agree...I think City and Spurs are in Honeymoon periods,in fact I know they are.As for Villa,they are the most schizophrenic team in the EPL,they have a purple patch then sooner or later in a season they cannot beat their granny and it all falls to fu'ck..UEFA cup team.Spurs are punching above  their weight,City have a manager and a pack of players who are playing on adrenaline rather than instruction...soon they will seek direction,its not there!

Its all a bit early in the season to be worrying about the end considering all present realities regardless of which side of the fence one resides(BTW i dont see or like the fecking fence).Bit too early for concentrating on making sure UTD dont win the League....throw the towel in now and ya might have nothing to wipe your face with in the 12th round while your opponent lies on the floor with a towel,wipes his eyes and gets up and punches ya down!

lando mate - if we lose against the mancs, not draw even, but lose, then i feel rafa will lose his job

its not just the losses that are making me feel its time for rafa to go its more to do with how he has handled players and made team selections and they way the team plays.

except for alonso why couldnt rafa get the best out of them ?
they all wanted to play for LFC but rafa kept tinkering and making changes. some games they played others they wouldnt im sure as a player it would be disheartening not having the manager instill belief and trust in you as a player 

greats like shanks, paisley, kenny would have got the best out of them


i always have had this feeling that rafa doesnt make players feel wanted or excited about being part of liverpool fc he just doesnt have the carisma of shanks and astutness of paisley, rafa comes off too cold hearted too cold blooded doesnt seem to be a people person doesnt seem to know how to put the fire in the belly as shankly did, rafa seems more and more of a bean counter

i dont know what goes through rafa's brain when it comes to team selections and making player substitutes...  so often we wonder why the hell did he do that or why didnt this player start.... it drives us crazy and confuses us all we've all shaken our heads in disgust and we just need to look at our results under his reign yep we have had good wins but the draws and loses have mounted the draws cost us the title last season which we really should have won having scored more than anyone and beating chelsea and man u twice.

just too much tinkering and changing the team around, not selecting the best available players, subbing the wrong players, subbing players too late into the game, only playing one striker up front in 4-5-1 we need to play 4-4-2 or 4-2-4

i hate seeing torres getting smashed all the time by defenders he needs a partner to play one twos with (just like toshak and keegan) who will take defenders away from him  and free him up give him space and make defenders actually think where is the ball going instead of knowing its always going to torres

i know many on here dont rate babel but for the life of me i cant understand why rafa doesnt use him as a regular starter we need him to feel part of the team and give us options on the wing make us play wide out thus dragging defenders away from midfield

right now im having a hard time as to whether carra is done and we shouldnt have let big sammi go our defence is a shambles right now probably worst ive seen for some time

and what the hell does rafa see in lucas

Reg, I normally like your posts, but please...

Shankley and Paisley where in a total different league to Rafa, I reckon Shanks wouldn't have sacked him as he would never had let him in the club in the first place

However the world has changed, I am in 2 minds, I really like Rafa but his faults annoy me so much, and what is more annoying is that a few changes in his management style could well make all the difference... but will he change? No he won't
