I think people need to sit back a bit and take a deep breath, have a bit of patience.
The reality is we are in our worst run for years, there is no denying that..we are all feeling the same way,im depressed and have never taken so much abuse about LFC at work than I am now.Im sure there a lot on here the same.
Expectations were high at the start of the new season and rightly so as last year was our best in the League for a long time. The only major thing that has changed since then is loosing Alonso(yes we miss him hugely)
But if there is anyone on this board that thinks if we had played Alonso in all our games this season we would have won them all they need to think again.
Our poor form looks to me like the manager has tried to make changes in the way we play over the summer. There cant really be any other reason for a team that played so well last season to look like a team of strangers. We are playing as poorly as I can remember under Rafa but sooner or later I feel something will click...the man is not stupid.

The game against UTD on Sunday is our biggest in the League in ages,it is a 6 pointer and simply one we need to win.Think of it this way if we win we are only 4 points behind the kunts and that is with us playing sh'ite so far..we wont play so cr@p all season,no fecking way!
Who would bet against us beating them when we need to??  :p

I agree with every single word of that. There has been far too much knee jerk reaction on the boards over the last couple of weeks and I say that without even a trace of irony.

True I've been an anti for years now, but you shouldn't come to that conclusion on the back of losing a couple of matches. I have to be perfectly honest been a little surprised how quickly some who have dished it out to me in the past have switched sides, and hopefully when (and I mean when) we beat the Mancs on Sunday people can calm down a bit.

The main thing at the moment is that we get the season going, and we have a better chance of getting it going as of now with Rafa in charge than we do anyone else IMHO. Re-assess at the end of the season, but for now we've just got to hope and pray that the lads come through.

In a way we should count ourselves lucky...We have been sooo poor but have the chance on Sunday to claw right back into it!4 points is absolutely FU'CK ALL so early in the season

If we play shi'te and loose..I really think I'll headbutt a wall.If the players do not respond to this chance and play the game of their lives there really is something wrong.
Its gonna be fecking nerve wrecking, huge huge huge game..but that is why we all love football, games like this!

If we beat them on Sunday the back pages will be telling a whole different story. Some of the shi'te in the press this week has been a disgrace, you'd nearly think some of them jouros post on here....or perhaps some of the posters on here take their shi'te on board rfatgher than think for themselves! :D

I'll put my hands up and admit after games I sometimes say things I dont mean out of pure anger and disgust, but I'll say and mean this...beat them, feckers on Sunday and we are in a great position all considered!

Lads, lets me honest:

We're not going to win the league and basis the situation at present we wont qualify for CL next year.

Ok, so what does that mean and is it a disaster for LFC or does it accelerate the sale of the club by the Yanks?

Only when someone demonstrates the Yanks wont sell regardless of our performance will I regret not winning anything this season. We have to look long term past the end of our noses.

I´ve supported this club for long enough to sacrifice a year.

no need to worry over the Mancs,we will win that game.

i was not say we was not going to win the CL what i was saying is that we will not win IN the CL (we will not qualify )

and its more to do with the team not being a team.

Losing the amount of games we have so far this season is a disgrace, the next game...which we will lose...must end the incumbent managers tenure. I'm happy we've merited a top 8 in europe monica for the last few years but this has come to an end, we will not finish top 4 this year. We need a new perspective, I'm tired of Rafas dogmatic approach, zonal defending, Lucas, no subs till 70+ mins, surely sub decisions are based on in game merit?? not whatever time has elapsed? I have had enough, who have we beat? burnley bolton(just) its over for this guy, bring on Morihno or klinsmann. btw i was ashamed to be sat amongst people booing the other night, blimey wtf is going on.

Well there's nothing like support from people like you is there? What a ridiculous post that is.

I suppose Mystic Meg told you we're definitely gonna lose against United or did you read Russel Grant's predications on the stars?

I support lfc not blindly not rafa. How bad do you want things to get? isnt losing every game we play bad enough. "what a ridiculous post" source?

Here you go son, whats good for the others is good for you:

I think we're probably out of the league already to be honest. Whatever happens though we've got to qualify for the Champions League, and even more important than that, we've got to make sure these c...s don't win the league.

If come the end of the season we finished top four, Arsenal won the league, we won the FA Cup, Citeh won the league cup and fecking Locomotiv Leipzig or whoever won the Champions League, that would fecking do for me :buttrock.

Not at all. My point is that if you decide you've had enough of the manager, it should be a considered decision you reach over a period of time, not a reaction because we've lost a couple of matches. People saying "sack him now" and such like is just daft, knee jerk stuff.

Ultimately whoever you think should be the manager, people should try and wish for what is best for the club. Fairly obviously at this moment in time, at this juncture, what is best for the club is leaving the man in charge. Should we go out oif Europe, out of the Cups and by the wayside in the league that might change, but even then you have to consider who amongst likely candidates is actually out of work.

I'm not a Benitez fan and haven't been for some time (as you know) but I do want whats best for the club. Right now that is him staying and us getting things going, we re-assess at the end of the season.

How would you explain being out of the EPL if we beat UTD on Sunday?
Regardless of other results we would be 4 points behind them,..only 4 points,so would they be out of it too??
Is 4 points such a major factor so early in a season?

The way I look at it is we really cant get any worse...other teams can!
