another spot on statement mate. i also agree that he shouldn't be booed IF he gets a game this season -it makes me shudder at the thought of it though! last night just showed he is really out of his depth at LFC, his positional play is fecking awful for me he just gets in the fecking way.

when he does recieve the ball he treates it like a hot potatoe,he hasn't got a fecking clue what to do,how to create space for himself, create chances for himself,it really shows we need a back up signing for torres-last night proved that already, first game or not it was a fecking bad reminder for me just how sh1t voronin is.

It's amazing how someone who supposedly has so little ability, incapable of passing and shooting, no positional sense at all and who is rated as worse than our youth players with 0 1st team games between them still manages to score a few in the bundesliga and internationally.

I wish I was that :censored:.

Voronin may not be 1st choice quality for us but it's a bit ridiculous to suggest he has no footballing ability at all.

At the end of the day once the season starts we must all back him like any other player for us. I can only hope he has improved with his stint in Germany. If I am being honest though I would rather we utilise Babel and even NGog up front more ahead of Voronin. Not trying to sound like a :censored: or anything.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

But the thing is tho surely it makes more business sense to cash in on him now after he has had a good season in the bundesliga were we would get more money for him but give him 6 months of sitting on our bench we will get frig all come January.

I agree, I'd rather we cashed in on him and either bought a replacement or tried the youngsters (including Babel) to give them experience.

The thing that was bugging me was people going over the top with criticism. The logic seems to be if he isn't Liverpool class then he must be completely abysmal with no ability at all.

He's a good player, not great. I'd rather someone else plays but if he does get games then it's hardly like a non-league player been tried.

Ideally he should be sold for a few million back to a German or Ukrainian team and we invest the money in another striker who can lead the line.

The ironic thing is that if Voronin is sold and is not replaced, some of the same people here will no doubt slate Rafa for selling him.

Edit: because I can't form sentences

Yeah I know what you mean it's funny because he is a lot better than Neil Mellor(just as overweight :D ) but because Neil Mellor was localish people had time for him when really everyone should be painted with the same brush
