Benayoun - Rate him or not?

Benayoun is awful and one or two decent performances doth not make a season.
I have never rated him, nor have I changed my mind....I could expand on that but won't repeat myself

So you won't ever change your opinion even if for arguments sake he scored at OT, against Villa, and every remaining CL game from now until the end of the season, if that is so your football knowledge is equal to that of my goldfish.

Fair play, your opinion like.

I think he has the ability to make an impact on a game; whereas Riera doesn't seem to be able to as much.

We cant always rely on Torres and Gerrard to provide inspiration in the final third. I'd say the player behind these 2 who can provide
that inspiration is Benayoun. He's a skillful player, can definitley beat a man (more than Riera) and he can pop up witha a goal too.

Maybe his consistency can be questioned, but as StMichael said, he could do witha decent run of games.

Really filled the role that Garcia left. He has been consistently one of our best performers this season and I think would have won over almost everyone.

I hope he keeps it up.

Can't believe he's not starting today. Perfect game for him to come out and dazzle and break down opponents

Played very well again last night. I believe Sky gave him MOTM did they not?

He's in really good form and I believe he's possibly the best off the ball mover we have in the side. He's similar to Garcia in a way, probably doesn't have the same goal threat but is more consistent in his approach play.

It's almost nailed on that with Riera suspended he'll get switched to the left against Madrid. Can't see Rafa playing Babel in a mllon years.

Probably our best player in the last month or so, seems more motivated to show what he can do than most of the team.

I have not been one of his biggest fans, but the last couple of months he has consistantly been one of our best players.

When Torres is fit, I really hope we see Kuyt playing up front (in his ACTUAL position) with Torres and Yossi on the right..

What are the chances??
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

i was thinking about this aswel.

Only problem i could see with it was how to fit gerrard, masch and alonso in the team aswel as a left midfielder. we would have to play 3 at the back unless one of these are dropped.

Played very well against Sunderland, gives a lot of creativity to the team. He should be playing every game while he is in form. Unless he needs a rest, of course.

A couple of months ago i would have said get him out. Now, i say, instead of Kuyt on the right.:D

playing great and in good form would want him to play on the right instead of kuyt... Benny offers more of an attacking threat
