He's got some nice dribbling skills but he needs to head to the gym and do a lot of weight lifting.

He´s an example for the rest players of the squad. Take note babel, Leiva, Keane....wait, not this last one  :D

played well today, and has been pretty good for the last few weeks and deserves to be in the side ahead of Kuyt.

I'd have to agree with you even, Yossi is in great form though Kuyt did well against Portsmouth as well. Yossi has been outstanding to last couple of games.

Anyone know what his contract situation is? this would seem like as good a time as any to give him a year extension or something like that.

(Also where do people usually get their contract status info from?)

Has been our best player the past 3 or 4 matches, if he is but in his favoured position you see a different player.Even John Aldridge is having a change of heart over him.

Benayoun is a clever little player and when of form, as he is now, can be a real handful for the opposition.  Where he costs us are in games where we need width and the fullback isn't bombing on behind him.  Now that Arbeloa's back he's got greater license to cut inside and wriggle his way into the box.  It's great to see at least one of your squad players looking interested in fighting for a place in the starting 11. :nod

He is the original hungry cheetah Bob, the original and only so far. His form has been excellent as of late, and although I was accused of being fickle for saying so a couple of weeks back, I'm happy to revel in my flcklosity and say I think he deserves more game time.

He is a player who I have found singularly uninspiring in the past, and haven't minded saying so. He is unquestionably in the form of his Liverpool life though right now, and I live in hope that I can be yet again proven to be talking utter b0ll0cks.

Admittedly in Yossi's case the "cheetah" bit might be stretching the point somewhat as he has more resemblence to a somewhat smaller mammal, one which would be chased by a close relative of the African feline. Still, the Cheetahs got a better PR team so we'll stick with that  :) ,

The Hungry rat. :D

I havent seen any games as of late, by going on what others have said fair play to Yossi. Who I've always found in the past a periphial figure in matches. Its good to hear he's playing well.

This particular Premiership season of course started in 2008. Anyone who's interested in the Chinese zodiac (and I must confess I've never anyone who is, I aren't myself to tell the truth) will know that 2008 was the year of the Rat. Spooky.

spot on mate, i also think the last few games he's come good, shown a good attitude, & is on form at the moment, i thought he had a brilliant game against pompey,i like the fact he's taking defenders on & trying to create chances for the team aswell as making space for other attacking players,& himself.
