He´d still be shíte if he was on a Subbuteo field instead of a real one.

He should play more as striker.

Why? I can't remember what thread it was in but im sure someone pointed out using some stats that he has been less effective in terms of goals when playing up front.

I think if he is to play anywhere it should be on the right.

Babel isn't even worth 26 pages.

He isn't worth 26 pound the way he is playing at the moment

Pepe has a right good old battle with Nando last night and then along came Babel and Pepe may as well have sent his wife out to mark Babel because he offered no threat whatsoever

He needs to buck up....

I do remember that we were warned by Ajax fans that he wasn't ready yet and that they insisted he stay at the club another year before leaving. I wonder if it would have been better/cheaper to have loaned him back to Ajax last term.

I'm looking forward to buy his duo son with Drenthe.

Looking forward to see his new hip hop band.

As for the football, lot of potential, lot of physical capabilities, but not the correct football mind it seems.

Now I hope he'll shut my mouth the next months.

Looks like somebody on Real is getting molested there :D

Marca online seemed to harp on the theme of Rafa winning the chess match

If i were to say i for one am a big fan of him and can't understand why he gets so much critisisum. He hasn't had a decent run in the team and this is the reason why he isn't at his top level yet. He is a great player with pace a great touch and is amazing in the air. Defently one to keep hold of as he might be able to form a great partnership with torres up front next term.....

I would be lying :D

When he first came to the club i was exited and after scoring aroudn 10 goals in his first season i thought we would really start to see the best of him this year. Unfortunatly if anything i think he has got worse :( Im not going to slate the guy but in all fairness i just don't think he is very good........yet :D

I think he needs to leave, he has no place in Lpool with Torres and Gerrard doing what he should have been doing!

He is maybe a prime example of why Rafa is criticised for his transfer market dealings. £11.5m for a young player who hasn't improved much since first signed, has plenty of raw talent but lacking the ability to use turn that talent into something. He's now a player used as sub in a role out wide because of his pace, in itself a questionable tactic because his dribbling is hit and miss and his crossing is miss and miss. He can't keep possession so he is more or less useless as well as frustrating. I can see him going in the summer, Rafa should use him as a sub striker, give him a last chance to show himself in the last few months of the season, but I think he's more sub standard than sub striker or sub winger.

(I see you were talking the píss but anyway)

I was excited too the first matches. If you look at my posts you'll hardly find an insult to any player, even the most scape goats.

But Babel has one of the sins I can't forgive a player, he doesn't seem to care!! I can't criticise a player for not having quality if he works hard, that's something you have it or you haven't but often it's not your fault if you haven't.

With Babel I feel a bit frustrated because I think that if he had been caught earlier by the right man he could have been a very good footballer.
